I've never felt so compelled to give a positive statement about a company, as I do about Smoke Evolution, and Carey & Jen Briscuso.
Most of the time, when you hear about a vendor it's something negative. That's because if everything goes smoothly, as it usually does, there's nothing to say. You place your order, pay, and receive your order as expected, end of story. It's when things do not go as planned, that you hear about the experience. Well, that's why I'm writing this...things didn't go exactly as smoothly as everyone would have liked, but it was through no fault of Smoke Evolution.
Using the tracking number they provided for my order, I was able to see that it had shipped on the exact same day I had placed it, and was in the hands of the USPS from that point forward. Well, of course that's when the trouble began. Once the package was received by USPS, they promptly lost track of it. I contacted Smoke Evolution when the package didn't show up, and my email was immediately responded to by the owner of the company, Carey. He took steps personally to contact USPS, and to have them trace the package, to see if it could be found. Eventually, they did find the package, and it was delivered to me a few weeks late. During the process, Carey updated me periodically to let me know where things stood. Keep in mind, when you check out with Smoke Evolution, they give you the option to purchase shipping insurance in case your package is lost by USPS, and I of course did NOT purchase it. So in all honesty, Smoke Evolution had absolutely ZERO responsibility in helping me to retrieve my misplaced package. Carey did this solely because he & his wife are that "oh so rare" commodity in today's society...good honest people.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience because as I said, it seems most of the time when you hear about interactions with vendors, it's negative. Every order I've placed with Smoke Evolution has gone smoothly, with the exception of this last one. But it is because of the problems with this last order, and how they were dealt with, that Carey & Jen have gained a loyal customer, for life.
I hope that because of my experience, and how you went out of your way to help me, others will decide to check out your site. Writing this is the very least I can do to say Thank You.
