I'm the proud owner of the above mod, which I've had for nearly 3 weeks now. Really pleased with the functionality, but one small niggle is beginning to bug the living daylights out of me.

It hasn't been dropped or abused, but the rear black battery is beginning to move ever so slightly when I press the fire button with the occasional squeak. The supplier I bought it from is > 400 miles away, so returning it is not an option. I doubt if they would take it back, as this is a "cosmetic" issue.

I was thinking of adding a touch of silicon sealant to the latch. Anyone got any better suggestions?

Maybe try something removable first like a strip of electricians tape?

The catch is only a few MM at most, I don't think it would stick. I think the back is made of some sort of alloy, so the same would probably apply to silicon over time.

I might try a folded piece of paper in front of the batteries, that might do it.
