I want to get started in RBAs. Would the links below get me started? Are they good? Is this all I need to get me started? What would you recommend me to get instead?

I'd suggest clicking on my second sig line hyperlink, reading the article and related links found in it.

Dave's - what should be always first on the list of any new mech/RBA user - recommendation of buying a decent DMM, allows you to confirm not only coil resistivity... but battery voltage and mech continuity 'health'. Something your Vamo cannot do.

Work towards a good understanding of how coil resistance and battery continuous amperage drain ratings play in a balanced 'safety and performance' concert with one another.

The B&M store by me will build coils on stuff they sell for free. I sat an watched them build a few coils for others. Bought my dripper there and watched while they built it for me. Rebuilt it at home, took me a lot longer than them, and had them look at it and explain what they would have done differently.

A lot easier and a great help to have someone with some experience help. I can find stuff cheaper on the web, especially if you shop fasttech, but the support more than makes up for it.

I did the same as p7willm. Though I watched a lot of Rip Tripper's videos prior to that. There's something to be said about being face to face with the guy as he walks you through it.

If you are not sure you will like dripping (which I dearly love) you may want to save some money and just try it. This is one at Fasttech.com that I think is comparable to what you are looking at. I started out on the igo-L and now have 3. Very easy to build and vapes wonderful.

If you do not have another pv that can check the resistance you may look into getting one of those. Fasttech also has those. Here is the one I have and it seems to work very well.

I just started using cotton and have been very pleased with it. I don't work for Fasttech by the way. I just like getting good deals and saving when I can.
