I am a very big noob when it comes to dripping/rba's.
I just picket up my first rba, a Helios Clone, from my local vape shop.

Now I think the guy said the MVP v2.0 won't fire on anything running below 1.2 ohms, but my ohm reader reads 0.8 ohms. It still fires.

Is this safe to use? or no?
Also if it's not, how can I get the ohm's up to like 1.5? Like I said I am a huge noob.

Please help!
Thanks!

The MVP2 has a 3 amp limiter in it's PCB... so that's it. below 1.3Ω+/-, it may still fire, but you're not delivering the amperage that an 0.8Ω coil would draw from a unregulated mech, or higher limit APV.

Do the ohms law math... Are you doing damage to the limiter when you "push" on it? Maybe. ;-)

The MVP will fire at 0.8ohms(won't function at all below that), but it will provide a voltage of ~2.76 Volts=~3.5 Amps. Before I got a mech, I was using my kayfun lites on my MVP. The kfl+ was what convinced me to go mechanical. I couldn't get it hot enough with any of my VV devices. If I'm using a regulated device, I'll wrap a coil in the ~2ohm range. I like high resistance, but the MVP can't go above 5Volts, so +9watts isn't going to happen with a 3ohm coil.
