I'm new to the rba/Rdas. I recently got a Z-atty-pro and now I just orderd a Helios. My question is...for the people that use kanthal wire, Do ya'll buy the small 10ft rolls on most vape websites or is there a place where you can buy in bulk, like a 100ft roll? Because I have to say i am going through wire learning how to make coils and 10ft just isnt enough for now.

You can buy, as you'll soon find out, 25, 50, 100 and even 200 ft rolls off Ebay. Be very careful that it's genuine Kanthal (there's Chinese "Kanthal" ya' know).

If you're paranoid, the previously mentioned Temco is a primary distributor.

E-Bay for the wire for sure.

I have had the Helios about 3 weeks now. Great RDA and best of the 5 I have. The T makes it very easy to put in any wicks you want and the air control is just right for me. I once had dual mesh wicks in there that gave me .3 ohms and the vapor production so overwhelming I had to change coils to 1.0 ohms. The flavor for me has been a bit better with Eko and Twix but that's personal choice. Mesh is intense in a dripper and probably the best really.

All RDA are RBA, kinda like all Bourbon's or Scotch are whiskies. I think we make these terms up on the fly so they don't make a whole heck of a lot of sense I still knew what you meant.

Anyways, yes. 100 ft roll, minimum. Usually from Temco. If you have a bunch of cheap wire on hand you're more likely to try out a new build (get better a rebuilding), give away wire and not stress if build doesn't turn out.

I just picked up 50 feet from ebay for $3.50, free shipping. Add $5 for cotton, and I'm set for coils and wicks for a year, under $10

Temco on eBay for sure. I got the 100ft roll of 28GA and it's perfect for wrapping low res micro coils in RDAs. At that price it's really a no-brainer!



You can also get some, albeit slightly more expensive, top-quality rebuildable supplies at Kidney Puncher.

Might as well send me some... I go through a foot or two a day. (I build all the coils for 3 friends, who's manual dexterity is, ah... questionable) ;-)

only a problem when stock is low.

But temco gets my vote too, great selection, ships quick, very knowledgeable and helpful should you have questions. many useful resources on the site, once they saw the vapors start pouring in they seem to have upped the selection of types and amount of stock
