I've strictly been using RBAs with 400 SS mesh for about 6 months now, this week I tried my own coiling method, its working so well I thought I'd share it right here. Roll your wick simi hollow and fat enough to be a snug fit thru wick hole, do not torch or otherwise oxidize at all. Use a thin, 100% natural strand of cotton, tie to wick where your coil would begin and snugly wrap around to the wick tip, cut off excess leaving about a quarter inch to "tuck" down inside the wick. Coil it, check your resistance, add a few drops and give it a bump. It should be error free, give great flavor and zero hot spots. In fact. The small added cotton seems to eliminate any dry hits also. If my method is new, then yay me. ~ vape on!
