RBA tr-r1 and Tf-r2

hi guys how's it going? So quick question hear. I wicked both the to-r1 and r2 I'll vape them and no flavor. Put them away pull them out the next day and they have amazing flavor for the first 5-10 puffs then back to no flavor!! What gives ? Also should the cotton go all the way down in the juice channels or just above? Thanks!
