An rba is a ReBuildable Atomizer. They're designed in such a way that the user makes the coil and wick instead of changing a cartridge like a clearomizer or just tossing it out like a disposable atty.

They come in two different general flavors. The first one, an rda, aka Rebuildable Drip Atomzer, holds a very small amount of juice - like 3 or 4 drops, usually. When you're ready to vape, you drip a few drops of your juice into it and then take a few puffs, then drip again. The other version is an RTA, or Rebuildable Tank Atomizer. These are tanks that hold anywhere from 2 to 5ml of juice. Much like a protank or aerotank, you fill it up and vape for a much longer time without having to mess with juice.

I'm still a newbie myself, so someone please correct me if I get anything wrong, but you'll want a bottom-feeding (this is important!!!) RDA. The Reo basically acts as an all in one dripping-bottle; instead of adding a few drops every few vapes, you squeeze a bottle and the juice goes up from the bottle into the RDA. The one that Rob sells on the REO website, the RM2, is supposed to be great for beginners. I'm still having a little trouble with getting a coil that I like on mine, so I'm glad I also got some of the (disposable) cartomizers to use with it until I perfect my technique. You may want to consider that if you want to be able to use it right away!

I recently got my first RDA and I think their big advantage is when you're sampling a lot of different flavors, you can just drip in the new flavor and take a few puffs of that flavor and move on to the next. Now if you wanted to set up something with your all day vape (ADV), a tank style RDA like a Kayfun would be best so you wouldn't have to keep dripping juice in it all day and you could leave your bottle at home.

In my opinion it's all preference. Vaping today is much more user friendly because of the options you have. Before all you had was a standard rebuild-able. If you don't mind dripping every few toots then i think the look of a dripping rebuild-able looks sleeker on a mod, but if you can't see yourself popping that juice bottle out every now and again then a tank rebuild-able would probably be your best bet. Either way you get to rebuild and that is the best part. So it's all up to you my friend! VAPE ON!

yea i cant see myself carrying a juice bottle everywhere with me lol. so i think a tank is the better way to go. Plus the rebuilding process actually excites me an cant wait to tinker with it.

Could a kayfun would work with a reo grand?

It would work, but it would totally defeat the purpose of getting a Reo. The Kayfun is a tank. The Reo is a specialized device that was designed I make dripping easier to deal with by carrying a bottle of juice inside and incorporating an automatic dripping system. The idea is that instead of pulling out your juice and putting a few drops in your RDA, you "squonk" your Reo (squeeze the juice bottle), and it automatically feeds juice into your RDA. If you're set on a Reo, you'll need one of the specialized bottom feeding RDAs sold on the Reo website.

If you get a Reo, you'll be carrying a juice bottle everywhere you go - it's built in to the device.

What made you choose the Reo?

Getting a Reo this early in your vaping career is a very, very smart plan. Many folks wish they would have got a Reo earlier and saved a ton of money on the way to nirvana....ask me how I know. ;)

Just FYI, if you wanted to use a Kayfun on a Reo (although, like others have said, there would be no reason to), you would need the LP (Low Profile) Reo.

As for the RDA - just get the RM2 from Rob when you order your Reo (there are 2 version, one for the standard Reo and one for the LP Reo, make sure you get the appropriate atty).

After you get the Reo, come on over here and join us Reonauts!
