Rba with either MVP 2 or vamo

Ok so I just ordered a kayfun lite clone, I've not tried rebuilding anything yet but I plan on doing a micro coil and cotton setup as that seems pretty popular right now. Question is there should be no issue with using that set up on an MVP 2 or Vamo right? I know they both won't fire anything below like 1.5 ohms or somewhere around there. So where should I shoot for my coil to be at for the best performance? Also would I be better off getting a new mod or will what I have be good enough?

Everything above 1.3 ohms should work just fine for vamo and mvp2

Actually, for me anything 1.2 and above is fine,

I stick around 2-4ohms depending on the flavor. The MVP doesn't have enough current capability for low resistances at higher voltages. If you don't need to be around 3amps (1.5ohms@4.5volts), it will be fine. I'm not sure on the short circuit protection of the vamo.

I love the way my AGI looks on the MVP. I'm assuming you got the clone off chinabuye..I hope that looks great on my MVP too. I got the MVP for work, and I'm sure the kayfun clone will be able to handle the punishment.

Thanks everyone, I don't think I want to get into sub ohm type things quite yet so I should be fine with what I have for now. I'm trying not to buy too much stuff. I do like the looks of the opus d though, I like the MVP with the built in battery so the opus d would be a nice upgrade to it.

The clone I got was from eBay, it was around 40 bucks, I don't usually like buying clones but I watched the Grimm green video on the kayfun and he sold me on it and I don't have a ton of money right now to spend on this stuff so I figured I'd try it.

Just FYI the vamo will fire 1.2 and above. Anything lower and it won't even let you fire.
