Well last night after returning from home the wife said that I had a package delivered. Thought it can't be the goods ordered from Rob already, well it was and it sailed through customs. Like a kid at xmas I opened up the package and set to work on building my first rba, juiced it up and took my first drag. My god it was like starting to smoke again and started to get a funny feeling. The strength of the hit was too much if I am honest and then I got that burnt taste, yuck.

Chucked that one in the bin and started a new coil with more winds, now this one hits the spot and have not yet had the burnt taste. I think I will buy some silica wick and try that.

The juice consumption has gone through the roof since yesterday, might be I keep on dragging the thing more since it is a new toy!

I would like to say a big thank you to all in helping me in getting one of these bad boys and Rob for such a speedy delivery too.

I tried cotton and got ok results then switched to silica, can't be happier. I could never get the density of the wick quite right with cotton to keep that OMG experience for more than a couple of hits. I run 2mm ekowool doubled over with 3/4 or 4/5 wrap 28g kanthal and 10A panasonic batteries with awesome results.

You can probably drop your nic mg content, most people eventually do when they move from carts to RBAs.

Glad you get a new friend, it is sure to be faithful to you.

Funny you mentioned ekowool, I ordered some yesterday along with silica wick both at 1mm so could get away with 4 of them together, glad I bought them now, thanks.

I've been using cotton, but I have one juice that's seems to gunk it up with a quickness and not giving the flavor I wanted. I then did a silica wick and the flavor improved but I love the conveinience and ease of use with cotton.

I remembered several people mentioning laying the micro coil in a bed of cotton instead of threading it through the coil. I gave that a try and the results are awesome.

I also have lowered my nic to 6mg and still vape myself dizzy on occasion.

Just sharing whats worked for me.

Good Luck!!

Well thanks Oldbroad and you guys for the valuable feedback, just placed an order with Rob and now the anticipation starts.

No more buying carts for me I hope and after the initial outlay these RBA's should work out a lot cheaper to boot.

The way I figure it it costs around $.07 US to rebuild a coil. The cost of the cotton is mostly insignificant I figure to be far less than one cent. Cotton replaced every day or two coil replaced when needed. Just a guess by you'll likely run your Reo for 6 months or more for the price of one carto. YMMV

edit: oops you're from the Uk YKMV

After reading a lot of info about the Reomizer I have a few questions If I may,

firstly how long would one last for?So long as you take care of it it will last indefinitely do you need to do maintenance to keep it in good health?Just wash it out once a week or so with warm water, you can actually disassemble the whole thing but its not needed or recommended unless your mechanically inclined.

The higher the number of the gauge the less ohms? and if I am right the less turns the higher the ohms too? lower # gauge wire will be thicker equaling longer heatup/cooldown time and less resistance, on this note the shorter the length of wire the less the resistance as well.

I like a good throat hit so the coil being higher and less turns and thinner gauge would suit me? The higher the coil off of the ceramic base the higher the throat hit along w/ other factors such as your juices nic level.

Might as well get fully educated before the delay of them arriving due to shipping and customs.

^There you go.
