Kanthal wire 0.28 gauge
silica wick, 3mm diameter (or organic cotton)
distilled water
a nail-clipper
a small torch
some cheap flat ended tweezers
a small phillips screwdriver (in some cases another type, look at the atty..)
Ohms-meter... you need one... however... i use my provari for that.
the distilled water is used to boil the wick material to get rid of any impurities (twice à 20 mins)
the nail clipper is used to trim of excess coil material
the torch and the tweezers are for getting your micro-coil in shape.
You could certainly do without the torch, tweezers and distilled water...
but you want these sooner or later anyway as soon as you start making micro-coils
or steel-mesh-wicks.
