RBAs VS Cartos VS Nic Level???

Got a question... Ive mostly used carto-tanks and using 18mg juice.... Ive just started dabbling into rebuildables and at my local B&M, I purchased an IGO-L... One of the clerks behind the counter was asking me what level nicotine I use as i was setting up my IGO-L....

I told her I use 18 and she looked at me like i was crazy... She proceeded to tell me that she only uses 6mg with her rebuildables because using a rebuildable/ you get more nicotine than what you would use from using a carto-tank/clearomizer etc...


Ive never heard of this and I was wondering if it is true... It got me wondering... " well explain a kanger protank or any other BCC?...an igo-l is basiclly a bigger bbc in a sense"...


Is it common for a vaper to use lower nic juice with rebuildables?

Yup. As soon as I got an IGO-W, I had to drop my nic some. I was at 18, now 16 but probably gonna start mixing at 14, because I don't think the drop to 16 (I know not much) was enough.

i also had to drop nic level with my rebuildables. They just hit harder.

I think it depends on the power you vape at, but I suspect that most people who go to RBA/RDA's are in it for a better than average vape. That generally means more power to the coil which means more juice vaporized per puff and that means more nic per puff. It's quite common.

I haven't had to drop the nicotine level with RBA's, but with flavors I love in carto tanks, I have to dilute the flavor a bit. Too much flavor gives a perfume kind of feel in a RBA.

I haven't reduced either & I had the same experience at my local vape shop. I use my RBA's when I'm home & carto tanks when I'm out. I've got some 15 & 16mg juice just incase though but so far I'm still at 18mg.

I changed mine drastically. I've been using 18mg in carto tanks all of this year minus the last few weeks. I've since been mixing 0-6mg depending on what I'm doing. I'll still take a hit off the carto tank while I'm out and about, but it is way too strong out of any rebuildable I have at this point.

i was a 12 mg carto smoker, when i switched to rebuildables i dropped to 6mg... i wish i could even get 3mg, but most manufacturer dont make 3mg juice.

buy a bottle of 6 and a bottle of 0 and mix them equally = 3
