I have been trying edevices for near a year and a half, first off. Many have come and are now accumulating dust and pet fur in a box somewhere! Damnedest thing for me the pathetically short battery life of the cigarette look-alikes. Bottom line there is: you sacrifice a lot to have the device look like a cigarette..
Many folks out there were tainted by their experiences with those super rediculously priced things that were first seen dangling from the lips.and fingers of the girl (or guy) at the mall kiosk.
I have been using the screwdriver mk2 for darned near a year now and I have to say that I'm pretty near very content with how it performs. Man there must be 1000...........ship loads of mods out there now....
Rc cars allready! Why in the world does this post have that in the title??
Something I just thought of about the lithium polymer (lipo) batteries commonly used.... they can explode, I seen one vent, it was a 5000mah 3 cell......not fun! I would not want a smaller version of that happening under my nose!
So....My SD has the 510 ATTY and I fussed with filling that cart for a long time swapping out the mediums and such. You were constantly fussing with keeping your wick saturated enough to service the purpose, some of you out there know what I'm talking about, right?
CHECK THIS OUT
Go to your local hobby.store.and purchace a package of the little foam dust covers for ball sockets. Basically they are a small foam square that has multiple perforated round circles; each with a hole in the center. These are about a quarter inch wide. This will cost around 3 bucks for this foam sheet that has maybe a dozen or.more.of these things.
So.. open the package and pop out one of these circles and push out the center hole and with a pair of scissors or a razer /knife you will cut down the edges to make this circle rectangular. You want it to fit snug in the bottom of your cart reservoir. I like to try to retain that hole in the center.
My 510 reservoir holds about 10 drops and that heels this sucker.gaping anywhere from 3 hours (heavy use) to 2 days
Awesome!
The juice saturates that tiny piece of foam and basically presses up against the Atty.and delivers your juice there!
I have a flash memory case that I carry.my.juice and goodies and it now has tweezers specifically for the removal and insertion of the foam that retains the juice!
So cheap and it works great. Have changed the foam twice in 6 months!
Thanks for reading!!
