I've been using an itaste MVP3/Atlantis for months.
I vape NET which kills the coils.
I bought a microstick/microdrip, started building my own coils and enjoy this setup.
However, it doesn't pack enough punch.
Can anyone recommend a good quality rda which would give comparable, preferably better, performance than an Atlantis.
I bought one online which arrived today but fails to deliver on performance.
Thanks in advance...Kev.

heya Kev - take a look at some of the Dark Horse clones - I think MFS has a very decent one for under$25 - but your challenge may be powering it, depending on the coil setup you build/ run, as the MVP tops out at 30w - but you could likely throw a .7 - 1.4 ohm build on there and get a very decent vape experience

If I remember right, the Microstick has a recessed atty connection and a very narrow one at that. Now see the reason of your question on 350 and 490/500 batteries. Vapor performance will not be anything like the MVP3/Atlantis, as it is A) Mechanical which is dependent on your coil resistance and airflow, and B) Due to the pretty low CDR on 350s/490s/500s you really don't have the current to support a high current like an 18650 can handle to get the watts up there for room filling clouds. Most people I've seen that own/owned a Microstick were using either a Kayfun Mini or narrow Genesis tank like the Havoc on it in the 1 to 1.4ish Ohm range on 18350s.

IMO, the mvp3 is on the low side of powering an Atlantis and may cause rapid coil gunking due to under powering the head. I prefer a good bit more than 30w using an Atlantis.

The micro stick uses an 18350 battery which doesn't have the capacity to run much of a build safely, even with the extension you'll be quite limited in resistance range/ power output.

Bottom line you're underpowered / limited by power & battery current to get much more if any more 'punch'.
Of course trying various gauge wire or a different build may prove helpful in finding a better vape than what you're currently getting.

Yeah, I don't see any big vape from a microstick. But I can agree on the Dark Horse. It does, however, want an 18650 to power it. Mine hits its best between .5 and .7. That's a bit thin on a 350. I won't coil mine below .8, even with the new AW batteries. Not to worry, though. You can buy a Nemesis clone from fasttech for 10 bucks and that will hit a DH like a truck coiled in the range I said.

Hi IMFire3605, yes it does, 16mm. I use the microdrip which is very good. I know I won't get the desired performance with this setup which is why I'm asking about an alternative. Thanks for taking the time to reply :)

hey dcfluegel, thanks for the reply. I've just had a look, very nice. I think I may also have to upgrade my box mod, I seem to be using it near it's capacity...

Hey Topwater Elvis, I believe you are correct. I've went through 6 coils in 10 days. I also agree with you on the micro stick though I do love that thing. I'm going to have to upgrade my box mod and get a decent RDA...

Hey suprtrkr, you're correct, the microstick is great for a stealth vape at work :) Looking at the Nemesis and Dark Horse, thanks for the advice, appreciate it...
