RDA Clones and chrome plated brass

Hey guys, do all rda clones have chrome plated brass posts instead of stainless steal like the real ones?? It seems that all of the ones I've looked at are chrome plated brass. I don't want that garbage, it's not healthy. Might have to buy an authentic one if this is the case.

No way, I have never even seen chrome plated brass posts. Do you mean silver? They all do not have chrome plating if that is truly what it is. There are many with brass, but not chrome plated. My Patriot has a silver plated post, but the new rda I ordered has gold plated brass. Others have copper. Just look around on other sites that where you're looking.

Yea man. A ton of the clones have brass and brass can be toxic when in the e liquid and heated. I was looking at the Helios clone and they're chrome plated brass posts. I was watching Rip Trippers on YouTube and he said he wouldn't use any atomizer that had brass.

Brass typically has some lead content. I treat brass in a solution of 2pts Vinegar and 1pt Hydrogen Peroxide for about 5 minutes. This removes any trace of surface lead, and it's been pretty well established that lead doesn't "migrate" or "leach" through brass.

This works for me ... but your millage may vary.
