I got a cheap dripper a few months ago and was really happy with the flavor. I've never had a problem with vapor production, but wanted an rda that could dual coil easier, so I sold it to my brother.

I ordered a Trident (clone). Which the vapor was amazing, the flavor seemed dull and I seemed to taste the chamber more than the juice it was vaporizing.

I then decided to jump on a Trident V2 clone. The flavor is better than my previous purchases, but when vaping Boba's Bounty or my Nicoticket flavors, it's no where near in the same ball park in the flavor department. The vapor with a microcoil at 1.7 ohms with 28 gauge kanthal around a 5/64ths drill bit is amazing, but the flavor leaves a lot to be desired.

The flavor on something strong and in your face like my MBV root beer float is decent, but I really wanted an RDA for taking to vape meets and trying out a bunch of different juices.

I could try the syringe on my bottle top to make it really small.

The dripper I had before the trident was some cheap FT thing that was like 6 bucks, but all my pleasurable memories from the device were from dripping the root beer float.

The root beer flavor is very strong so I think that's why it works out for me

Nicoticket flavors just seem to be wasted on this V2.

Here is a picture of my current setup. You'd think it would be good enough

maybe the atty is just to big?

A smaller chamber will yield more flavour. You take a loss for "mad cloudz" but if flavour is what you are after, put the same build in a smaller atty and see if you like that.

even comparing my Geni style tanks, smaller chambers have better flavour.

I deduced that is why I like the kayfun so much.

Maybe I should shove more saturated cotton in there

My Trident clone was a disappointment for me, especially with Bobas

im sure I am in the minority, but like the taste better even in an evod

Probably the real Trident would be better, but all the problems I had have it sitting on the shelf and when I am dripping, I use the Igo W

since getting my Kayfun Lite Clone, I am pretty much one dimensional

I've tried that. It helps, but just isn't the same.

you can get chamber reducers that wont soak up hear for certain attys, try to see if what you own has it available.
I never went that route, but those that have(bought/made) chamber reducers love them.

Just throwing options out there.

I tried a dripper, for a while, and went right back to my gennys. I did the whole dual micro-coil thing and all, but to me a genny delivers the best flavor, and without the need to keep dripping more juice into it.

Just sayin...

Some people will tell you this... although most people who have set up an RDA properly will disagree, of which I am one.

Also, dual coils generally are not associated with better flavor so much as more vapor. Typically the best flavor comes from a dripper with a very small chamber and a fairly small airhole, which generally means less vapor than a huge dual coil setup with 2 enormous air holes.

I personally have 1 setup for maximum flavor, which I use for testing new juices. I have 1 setup that's purely for blowing huge clouds, just because it's fun sometimes... all of my other setups are some happy medium of the 2, for your typical all-day vaping.
