So, just an update, I rebuilt the TOBH again and after some tweaking...the flavor isn't bad. It's still not quite as good as my Quasar or Origen clones but it's pretty decent.

What I did was move the coils closer to the air-holes and also moved them over to the side a bit more so that the airflow would be more even. I think on my first build, the coils were mostly covered up by those tabs and it wasn't getting a good even airflow...thus the extremely weak flavor.

This is what my build looks like, I did a simple .6 ohm dual micro coil build and it's working pretty well (I know, not the cleanest set of micro coils but they work just fine).

I think I was too quick to judge the TOBH, now that I have a build which works better, the flavor isn't bad, not amazing but it's enjoyable at this point.

I noticed that immediately when I did my first build tonight on my TOBH clone. The coils are split about halfway by those damn air blockers. I initially placed my coils as close to the air holes as possible and as far away from the air blockers as I could. Still, I have decided that those things need to come off. Dremel! Here we come!

Way to much cotton and way to much juice which means less vapor and flavor will lack if the coil is not raised up.

Yeah, those tabs are the pain. Unfortunately I'm not that confident in my Dremel abilities

i just recently got an ehpro tobh clone, and the flavor is extremely weird. i've learned from this thread that those tabs need to come off, and that the position of the coils matter. i'm running quad coils, 26 gauge wire with organic cotton. i'm getting a metallic-y taste, and my throat hurts after i use it a little bit. not like a nicotine/throat hit pain, it feels like my throat is...constricted might be the best way to describe it. my other rda is completely fine with the same flavor and wicking material. any tips?

If your getting a metallic-type taste then it might be a hot leg, at least that's what it sounds like to me.

im by no means a master builder but i love my tobh clone, crappy lil tobeco thing, i agree build quality sucks, but one thing u might want to try(sry for asking if uve checked) but the mid section with the airholes on mine was assembled upside down when i bought it( the airholes were closer to the top) i wasnt getting good flavor at all then realized they airholes r sitten way above the coils, flipped it around(so the airhiles were closer to the bottom) and it worked great. also i freakin love rayon

The outer sleeve on mine has an indention so it will only go on one way. And the Ehpro is actually really nice, it's built solid and I haven't had any issues with it (besides those tabs).
