My boyfriend and I are new to vaping and ready to build our own atomizers. I recently was able to get the aga t2 to work. We have also acquired the a phoenix bully and an igo l the problem is my boyfriend has fat fingers and cant work on any of the attys we have found so far. Can anybody recommend a fat finger friendly rda?

While you stretch your fingers and buy some tools, please read this very important information about RBAs especially if you are planning on using it on a mechanical.

A UDI 2n1 (tank or drip mode) is about the same as your T2 and I think it's the biggest you can find.

All you need is some helper tools mentioned by fellow ecf'ers above and some additional tool like vise, spring pullers, tweezers, etc.

and should be no problemo building even the smallest of the rda's.

Edit: the igo w looks like it would work. never checked them out.

$5.10 V5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0
almost same size as the igo as far a width. dont have to make dual coils ( i run in single coil mode) but the holes in the posts make it much easier to work on.

yep,

I got the V.5 i also run it single coil and love it.

I did have to drill the airhole out to about twice the size, and it is now fantastic. Very easy to set up as well , even with my sausage fingers.

I have fat fingers and arthritis. Need a good stretch? Yeah about every 10 minutes. Several suggestions:

1. Magnification
2. A third hand tool (some have magnification)
3. Tools - tweezers, cutters, pliers, etc.

With the right tools, I can do this, so I think anyone can. Here's a shot of my RBA gear:

I'm helpless without the right tools.

Edit: Sorry it doesn't show up that well, but best I can do.

Big hands and bad eyes don't stop me. Have both igo-l and igo-w. Tweezers, snips, and a magnifying glass are my tools. That 3rd hand thing a previous poster pictured looked like it would be good to. Going to check into that.

I would like one of those dedicated magnifying lamps someday. Hoping to find a good used one somewhere. And my eyes aren't really that bad, no restriction on my license or anything. Just that my optometrist told me that I was getting up there in age and the next time I came in I would probably need bifocals. That was 12 years ago, i'm putting it off as long as possible.

I feel like the genesis style RBA's are probably the most forgiving as far as size goes. The form of a genesis makes it easier to have bigger screws/etc...

My reason for quitting smoking was because of a stroke. Now my right side does not work, particularly my right hand. Because I still want to build my own atomizers, I use alligator clips to help me oxidize mesh and wrap coils around silica. My point is this: You can most likely find a good tool(s) to help your bf work with smaller setups. Beyond this, there is still a learning curve with RBA/RDAs. Don't let your boyfriend mistake newbie clumsiness with a supposed physical issue.
