RDA issue or something else?

First off, I have no clue if this in the right section or not. If not I won't be upset if it gets moved.

I got my first genesis style rba about a month or two ago and had nothing but issues with ss mesh at first but once I got it working it was pretty awesome. I decided I wanted to try a rebuildable dripper so I got an igo-l. I've been using it about two weeks now and I love the flavor and the vapor production and I've even lowered my nic to 6mg!

Well since using the dripper I've had a pretty good cough and waking up with a lot of congestion. I can use a carto tank and my genny with no issue. After about two or three drags from the igo I start wheezing and get to coughing.

I'm building with silica and kanthal on both of my RDAs.

Anyone else having any issue similar to this or should I just give up on the RDAs?

Any chance you have the voltage or wattage set too high? Are you getting any kind of burnt flavor?

I'm using silica and Kanthal on my IGO-L and have never had that problem.

2ohm coil on my k101.

I don't think it would be that.

I keep trying to tell myself it is just a coincidence and that my sinuses are just acting up.

Have yet to hear of such a problem. I used my IGO-L with kanthal/ekowool for awhile and never had a problem. Have you switched juices recently maybe you're allergic to something in the new juice?

I've used the same juice for the last year...

Maybe I'm just weird.

I'm going to pick up some cotton and try that, see if that helps... I really hope it does.

Make sure you don't accidentally fire it before you wet it. Did that once... that sucked.

I've heard it both ways. I boil mine, but I don't know, maybe somebody will come along and explain why boiling it is a good idea.

What battery are you using? I think this is a mech unit. Try a smaller battery. I am running 18350s with +/- 2 ohm coils. HAve to build a higher resistance coil for the 18650 or get burnage.

the igo is a 2.1ohm coil and I am using it with an 18650 efest.

the squid is 1.6ohms and I am using it with either an 18350 efest or 18500 AW when the 350 is charging.
