It is a preference thing. Some people love the vape they get from dripping, so they would rather fill up an RDA every so often. Often, most RDAs can hold a lot more juice than a stock dripping atomizer, so the hassle of actually dripping is not as tedious as it is with a stock 510 atty.

With all of the innovations lately (the Kayfun Lite and the Ithaka (& its clones)), I kind of agree that you can pretty much get a dripping experience with the benefits of a tank.

Lastly, you have not gotten true flavor/vapor production if you have not experienced a well built genesis style coil with SS Mesh. That, to me, tastes better than any dripper that I have had. Just my 2 cents.

To me the only reason I think I would ever want a dripper is if I want to try a bunch of different flavors back to back. Drip a few drops, test it out, wash, repeat.

Being a relatively new vaporer myself, I have about 40 different juices that I am trying out, it is really easy to do so with the rda.
I have found really only about 4 juices I truely like so far..Oh - the clouds!!

It seems like the natural progression of RDA's makes sense, at least for me. Started with cartos, to BCC's, then wanting to rebuild the heads, straight into RDA's. Eventually I will make my way into RBA's via the RSST, but for now I don't have to fiddle with oxidation and hot spots and tank crackers in poly tanks. JMHO.

For me, it's easier to experiment with different coils and wicks on a dripper. If it doesn't work or you don't like the result, you don't have to empty a tank. I'm really enjoying my trident clone right now. Having adjustable air holes is awesome! Of course the other reason why I use it is for testing flavors.

I may be wrong but it seems to me as far as experimentation with wicks, drippers are better suited to flexible, absorbent type wicks such as silica and cotton. I think it would be pretty difficult to get a dripper to work with something like SS rope wicks. On the other hand Genesis and Fogger type RBA's work good with stiff, straight wicks.

Bro, good question. Here's the answer: What's the point of either when you can have a bottom feeder like the REO grand. You feed the Rebuildable Atomizer thru the bottom just by pressing the concealed (protected) onboard bottle. Highly portable, no mess and Blows tank systems OUT OF THE WATER.

Fresh squeezed juice on demand. Here's a couple of videos - first one about the REO and second one about micro coiling the Rebuildable Atomizer :)

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant experiment with cotton wicks (in my case). I play around with density, placement and length to find what gives me the best VTF.

among other reasons, i enjoy RDAs because they are less likely to leak than some RBAs. i do have a couple of gennys set up to where they wont leak, but i get paranoid and think theyre gonna leak at the most inopportune time. with a cotton wicked dripper, the cotton does an amazing job at absorbing the liquid. i can vape a good while on some of my drippers. with a fresh wick, its not unlikely that i'll get 20 drops in a larger dripper.
