Rda on an istick 30w

So in looking to get an rda to use on my istick 30W and was wondering what a good choice will be. I will be upgrading to a bigger mod later. What would a good build be for this?

.6 is about the lowest u can build without totally maxing out. Dual 28 G micro coils are probably your best best. Go on Steam Engine for exact wrap/gauge info

Sure. Iv run a .8 on my wifes 30W sig and it ran OK. If you find that you prefer a coil or coils that run at 1 ohm or slightly above, it would be perfect. I would recommend a small chamber atty, like a Derringer or Hobo, or maybe even an Atomic. Something in a 18-20mm size would vape pretty good. Just to get you started down the road of rebuilding and what equals what and so on.

The exact build is dependent on the atty, so you kind have to make that choice first and then go from there with the paramiters of build, :?)

For a build something between .5 and 3 ohms. Personally I'd go single coil below for <15watts and dual coil above. I like a tight-ish draw so I want either an atty with SMALL air holes I can enlarge or adjustable air.

I've been running a .7 ohms single coil Magma RDA clone on one of my iStick 30W without issue. It doesn't leak, and has been performing fantastically. the .7 doesn't drain the battery as fast as a .5 ohm dual coil like my Orchid V4 clones.

If you're used to less airflow than the rdas and tanks used for high wattage, it's hard to beat the Magma. I prefer the derringer, but that's just personal preference, and I run it at more than 30 watts most of the time.

Update, read that you're getting a bigger mod soon @Aadavis94. I'll go ahead and recommend a derringer. Good versatility for higher watts later on, still works great at lower watts.

I tend to like a little more airflow. Ussualy the two biggest settings on my Atlantis are what I use. I'm looking at getting the evict vt here soon.

I have the troll. Doesn't matter what ohms I run, from .4 to .7 so far, It works best at 30 watts. Wish I had more power to get the most out of it. RDAs get very hot, like taking 5 consecutive drags and the mod acts like a heat sink getting very warm. SoI cant vape like I can with my subtank.
