I may be mistaken but any/most RBAs will only have two posts.

Personally, the IGO-W is a good platform to learn how to build because there is a lot of space for you to work with. My Kayfun is a little more complicated. I didn't know this when I started but drilling out the air holes to 1/16 and placing those air holes directly in front of the coils make a WORLD of difference, with dual coils of course.

The IGO W3 has more posts for more exotic builds.

The absolute easiest rda to build in my opinion has to be the Helios. It has a split center post for super easy dual coils. I have one and like it a lot. Here is a pic of it fired up with only one side done at the time but you can see the split center post and how easy the rda is to build.

Pic with the cap on. It's the RDA all the way to the left on the Atmizoo Roller.

I'm just a beginner dripper but I started out simple with the igo-L and have been so pleased with the single coils builds that are so easy. I am waiting on a Kayfun Lite that has been recommended and am looking forward to using them because i have read so many good things. I wasn't sure I would like dripping but I find myself liking it more and more. Good luck to you. I learn so much easier when I see something so YouTube has been crutial to my being able to rebuild. It really is lots easier than I thought it was going to be. Good luck to you and happy dripping.

Welcome to ecf. So glad you are here. :) Look forward to reading your future posts.

RDAs with 3 posts are for building dual coils. There are plenty of two-post RDAs out there, but the majority are now 3-post, with some even shipping with 5 posts (for quad coils).

If you're looking for something a bit higher end, I recommend the Patriot. I don't have privileges to post links here, but you should be able to find it. It's not super expensive, has nice sturdy posts with big post-holes and has a heat-sink design that cools the vapor off a bit. It's also made in the USA!

You could always just upgrade your IGo-W. There are plenty of options. The Igo-W has ridiculously small airholes so you could drill them out but beware it's kind of a pain. I busted a drill bit doing mine and I still need to sand down the inside. There are many aftermarket caps you can get for it like the Halo cap by CIA (Cap It All Vapes) or the one made by V-Apes which has huge adjustable airflow holes. You can also get clear caps and even a copper center post for better conductivity.

For a rba tank i'd get a kayfun Lite + or a Russian 91%.

Buyer beware on that TOBH! I agree with earlier post that it hit well, but broke in less than 2 weeks and was inusable. Tried to contact TOBH repeatedly through the links he provided and he won't even bother to respond. Sent him a pic of what happened and asked if I could BUY the replacement screw for the product. No response.
Might as well get one of the clones coming out if yiu really want to check it out. Don't throw all that $ to him when it breaks easier than a clone and jus customer service is as nonexistent as Fastech.

Ok.. just to clarify things:

RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer
RBA ReBuildable Atomizer (which has a tank)
Genesis style RBA - Tank on bottom, coil on top. coil goes through a hole in the deck, and the juice is wicked up.
Kayfun Style RBA Tank on top, coil on bottom. Coil is protected by a chimney, and the weight of the juice helps with the wicking up into the coil. Juice surrounds the chimney.

Now, a good RDA, Muggs 4 post Helios dripper has got to be the easiest I've seen. four posts, hole captures, phillips head screws, and a small drip well lip.... can't get any easier than this. This has got to be the easiest RDA I have seen to date.

for a good dual coil RBA, the Aqua is what comes to mind. It's like a three post RDA, but it is kayfun style. I have one of these myself and love the overall design. HOWEVER, it has some drawbacks... Small chimney means cramped area to build in, screw hole captures are horrible when working with two coils, and no glass, so you don't know how much juice or how fast you're going through it. Besides those three negatives, it vapes good, is solidly built, and is a dual coil RBA. For single coil, I would go with a Kayfun or Russian 91. Same setup as the Aqua, but you only have to worry about single coil, and they have a clear tank option.

I've also started with the igo-w, but after going through different kinds of atty's i finally found 2 of my all time fave's, the Tobh and The Patriot. Worth every penny, imo.

+1 for the Patriot and the Patriot clone. They are virtually identical with about a $70 price difference.

+2 for Patriot. I would personally go with a clone. I did and I do not regret it thus far. I drilled out the posts to allow thicker wire but other than that its solid. I picked mine up at 88evape for 17 shipped.
