Hey, ECF people of all kinds~~

So, I have recently been playing with rda's. I currently have a IGO-l and a V10 rda that is this one http://fasttechcdn.com/products/140/1408901/1408901-2.jpg . Now, the bottom piece of them is universal with both tops. When build a coil on either one of these bottoms, and I use the IGO-l top, I get excellent vapor, and flavor. But, When I put on any top piece that has a bigger combustion chamber, like the V10, with the same bottom piece that was working excellent, the vapor production diminishes and the flavor turns..nasty. It makes me cough and taste..weird. Not burnt, just weird. Does anyone know why this is happening? Do bigger combustion chambers on rda's just suck, or do I build to build the coil taller if the combustion chamber is bigger?

I have also built on my friends RSST and it's the same thing with the flavor and vapor production. It's not burnt, but just taste..weird...a bad weird, it makes me cough and leaves a nasty after taste in my mouth. (also a bigger combustion chamber than the IGO).

I am sure to be lining up the air holes and I even drilled an extra hole in the V10 to try to make it better.
But like I said, when I put the IGO-l top piece on the coil, it works excellent!

The amount of airflow in combination with the size of the chamber will affect your taste. In my experience smaller chamber=more flavor, but I could be wrong. My modified Aga t2 (dual coil capable) has good flavor and vapor production, but it is nothing like my Kraken (smaller chamber and adjustable airflow) which has great flavor and vapor production. I'm not sure why you're getting a bad taste though.. My Aga just tastes a little muted after using my Kraken. Just my :2c: Glad to hear you got it working for you though! Good luck with your builds :toast:
