We don't know what equipment you are using, but as Ablonz said, make sure the coil screws are tight & the coil leads have not broken.

Then see if there is a positive pin adjustment in the mod.

Since the positive post on the atty just spins, try tapping it down from the top. They are very often just press fitted, especially if made in China, & can slide up when being screwed onto the mod. Tap it gently with a wooden or plastic handle of a screwdriver.

Is it rattling when you shake it? There should be no rattling. Looks like you could raise the center pin on the mod though as well. Make sure all connections are good on there as well. Only thing I could see. Also, make sure you get yourself an Ohm meter as well. No need to take any chances at firing an unknown atty on an unregulated mod. Safety First!

No it's not rattling and I'll look into a ohm meter

Maybe the 510 adjustment on the mod is not making connection with the pin on the RDA?

I'll second the ohm meter or digital multi-meter to check the ohms. You need to have a way to verify a RDA is safe to fire on a mech mod. If your coil was touching the deck or side wall it will short and your battery could go into thermal runaway. We don't need someone else with a mod blowing up in their face. You might want to look into a regulated mod as there are built in safeties and ohm meter, plus you will get a much more consistent vape.
