RBA: ReBuildable Atomizer (all rebuildable toppers, including tanks and drippers).

RDA: Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (no tank, eg Derringer)

RTA: Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (with a tank, eg Kayfun)

RT/DA: Rebuildable Tank/Dripping Atomizer (RDA with a juice supply, eg Big Dripper)

rda's are mainly used for mech mods - just the deck/well with posts and your coils/cotton/wicks
rba's are used for box mods mostly and pen style ecigs - attach to a regulated battery/device

That is false. People use boxes on both, as do people with mechs. It's more of a regulated vs non-regulated question
