RDA wicking problem? or coils?

Hey all this is my first post so please bear with me. I recently picked up my first rda at my local vape shop and soon noticed that I was constantly dripping and getting dry hits. I also hear a hissing sound after releasing the trigger. I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the wick but I'm not sure.

it looks decent to me. I would take the wick out, then burn all that gunk off the coils by just firing it and letting them glow for a few seconds. Make sure they are both lighting up simultaneously. If not, just give them a few light scratches across the coils with your tweezers, and then fire it again.

Then re-wick and try it again.
