Until now I have only mixed single flavors. This is my first attempt at something more complex. I wasn't trying to clone anything but made a mix influenced by some clone recipes I see on here.

I had a small test batch of TFA's American Red at 5%. I mixed it with other flavors which leave a batch with half the mix steeped as single flavor. Since half this batch was already steeped, will it cut down my steep time for the current mix or will it be the same since it has multiple flavors?

I know I like it pre-steeped.

That's a good question. I have never tried mixing a fresh juice with different flavors with an already steeped juice but when I refill the juices we use regularly I always use the same bottle and leave a little of the steeped juice in there and steep time is much quicker than normal.

Here's Dannyv45's blog on the subject:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...you-wanted-know-about-steeping-then-some.html

I haven't really tried this. I did once because I really needed to make some juice and didn't want to waste the last 1.5 of my Remedy Black clone. Didn't notice a difference. I just bought another dozen of these bottles:

Amazon.com: Cobalt Blue Dropper Bottles 1/2 Oz - 12 Per Package: Beauty

I now have 24 of these and 4 extra of these (which I use for storing NIC:

1/2 oz (15ml) Amber Boston Round With Cone Caps

these are the best deal on the web I have seen so far with free shipping.

My thought process here is to have between 300-400 ml of juice or more at all times so they can steep at least 2 months. Problem solved. Hope this helped.

It will still need to steep but only for a day or 2 and not weeks. As part of the mix is already steeped a phonomia called seed steeping will take place causing the un-steeped juice to steep much faster. I know that works when remixing the original recipe so I don't see any reason it shouldn't work in your case though I have not tried it when modifying a mix by adding a different flavored un-steeped mix. But when both steeped and un-steeped mixes are the same flavor it works great.

Never heard it called seed steeping. I did know it worked this way when it was the same flavor, which I do with my simple flavors. I guess I can report back if I remember to.

Moogle - I have more amber and cobalt blue bottles than I need at the moment but if my DIY habit keeps increasing I'll need more some day, lol.
