RE: Trade a GLV2 mini for a GLV2 5v with cash

Hello everyone, Do you have a GLV2 5v that you would like to trade for a mini? Hardly ever used. Maybe two hours on it. I love my 5v and 6v is to much for me.
PM me if you do. There may be some cash involved. I love my mini but hate having to have LR attys around and they do not make the eGo cartomizer in LR yet. I love the 5v best.
The mini is a little cheaper than the 5v so maybe I will pay for shipping both ways or something like that. The mini is of course not resisted so it can be 3.7, 6 or 7.4.

I know this is a long shot but worth a try. I may just have to send it in and get a resister put in and get a long body to use. But I am a tight azz!!!

[edit] Heck I will sell it and buy a new one if someone offers me a good price.

While I don't mean to get your hopes up...and I'll probably never give up my GLV2 5v, the new Cisco LR's really make any 3.7v device shine. They have been super durable for me (over a month of daily abuse on my Cisco LR 306), and I think others would report similar experience.

At $9/per...they are the best value out there for attys IMO. That might just put enough life back into your Mini if you can't get a trade worked out.

I should have closed this thread when I shipped the mini back to jay for a makeover. Sorry. I just needed a second 5v is all. I didn't even use the mini and I have tried the LR attys. to no avail, Just not the same. I just love the 5v and I am down to about 8mg of nic so my next step is no nic and then I will be selling everything. I have a crap load of stuff too. Yes it is Black Stardust and yes it is beautiful. I love it.
