Re wicking kanger subtank coils.....muted flavor

So I am using Japanese organic cotton to rewick my subtank coils with. I am using the ... organic cotton as it seems everyone raves about it. However now my juice is just bland an flavor is either nonexistent or severely muted. Any suggestions as it seems I am the only one with this issue with the ... cotton?

Yeah people rave about many things that are not really worth the raving. Try more or less cotton.. Chances are you just got it wrong a bit.. BUT that said, cotton does have a learning and adjustment curve. the japanese cotton pads just make measuring easier. It definately tastes different than silica. IMO silica is a bit of a brighter vape, cotton is more muted and flavor tapers off faster. You might try rayon, IDK... Regular cotton balls work fine for me.

I second the cotton balls! I change mine almost any time I switch to a new juice (which these days is quite often!). I didn't care for the Japanese cotton nor did my woman. We tried some silica rope that came with one of our atty's and didn't like that either. But to each their own.
I would almost suggest you might have used too much cotton and its not vaping the way you are/were used too. Try re-wicking it, using less, and see if that helps.
