Reading a thread

When I'm reading a thread, the original/first post always starts at the bottom of last page!!! Rather than the other way round i.e. Original post at top of page 1....so that I could read from page1.

Is their a forum setting that I could alter ?

yup .

select 'User CP' at the top left of any page.

under 'settings & options' at the left of the page select 'edit options'

scroll down to ' thread display options '

select 'Linear-oldest first' from the drop down menu in the 'thread display mode' panel
