So I was just checking out some posts on the forum about burnt taste (especially with coffee) and as a big drag taker on analogs, I try to reproduce my analog experience with my vaping practices. It seems to me that I can have my volts high 4.8 to 5V and I only get the burnt taste when hitting it for more than 4 seconds (real time). Turned down to @ 4 volts I can hit it for at least 7 seconds with no burnt taste. Part of my addiction is feeling like my lungs are full and the longer I don't smoke analogs the clearer my lungs get. So I now find myself being able to mouth draw for a full 10 seconds with a flow restricted tank like a Pro Tank 2 or a iClear 30 that I used to only be able to draw off for 5 seconds tops! That being said and in summary; It is necessary to have controls/adjustments at your disposal because you will always be dialing in a new juice, adjusting for a coil working thru its half life or adjusting for a stronger hit when your feeling unsatisfied from the previous vape etc...
