So i am currently using a Cloupor ZNA 50, istick 30w, sometimes i use my Innokin SVD, and i no longer use my MVP 2's.
all have their purpose though, but the ZNA 50 is always slow to the start, meaning i always feel like i have to prime it with the fire button to make it vapein' hot. it may be the sleep mode i see people talk about but if its asleep it shouldnt be slow to fire in my eyes. i def. dont have to double click fire to make it fire, its like its just slow to heat a coil unless i prime it. but once its set i can fire it repeatedly and not have issues, its only when i stop for a bit.

The iStick is cool but i always feel like i am pushing that little guy and it wont fire under 0.9ohm

the SVD is nice in that it isn't rattle-snaking when it fires like the istick and ZNA and gives better flavor even though it is slower than molasses to heat up a coil in my IGO-W and eleaf Lemo. though normal clearomizers with 1.8ohm coils seem to work well enough. but it too doesnt like coils below 1ohm if i recall.

and the ZNA is horrible for battery life and also it doesn't regulate,,, once your batter is below half the output changes and it doesnt vape the same.

so i am looking to maybe make the move to something nicer, more reliable and something that can actually give solid hits every time, start to finish. something that will hit the coil right away and keep doing so.

i have always liked the Hana DNA 30's but they were too much for my wallet, now i see the DNA 30 Pack V3 is only $150... yes the DNA 40 is out but its massive overkill for me as this stage in my vaping.

but i don't want to discount other products that have currently come out. such as the SX300 and 350 chips and others.

i get the feeling my money, all $150 of it, is better spent on the Hana dNA 30 V3 but i just don't know,

so what do you all say, preferably, though not necessarily, those of you who have used both DNA and maybe the Yihi or something else.?
i don't want to limit myself to $150 but i think my wallet and wife would prefer that i did...

At $150, honestly you are better off jumping up to an SXMini or an VaporShark rDNA40 for $189. If that price point is simply not within the budget, if I were in your shoes I'd probably drop down to something like the SX Zero 50W clone for $80 and invest in some of the newer RBAs like the Aqua V2 and Kayfun V4.

I've got a Leno and enjoy it along with my Igo-w dripper and then the nautilus BVC and tons of the standard bvc tanks so tanks isn't an issue as much as a nice mod that isn't running some form of garbage PWM.
I had been eyeballing the vaporsharks and the sx mini just wasn't sure how they
Compared to things like the Hana which I don't have any personal experience with but there is a ton of info on the dna30 chips

Considering that you can get a VaporShark DNA30 for $99, I think any DNA30 device priced over $100 is simply too pricey now. For example, the Beyond Vape Solara is $175 for a DNA30...a nice product at the wrong price point.

If you are willing to spend $150, it makes more sense to get something with the top-of-the-line chips: SX350 or DNA40. The SXMini is the best available mod with an SX350 and the VS rDNA40 is the best value in a DNA40 (there are better devices like the Vapor Flask, but you are looking at $300 as the price of entry).

You can't go wrong with either honestly, but the rDNA40 has a lengthy backorder right now. The SXMini is still available a few places I believe.

I can't disagree with the above recommendations, but I can say I've used my hana 30 99% of the time since april and it has been nothing short of great. Though with new options like dual batteries and adjustable 510's it may be worth looking at other mods or the hana v4d. I am sending mine in to be upgraded with the new chip and 510, but if that wasn't an option I wouldn't rush to buy anything "better". If 30 watts meets your needs then I know you wont be disappointed with the v3, and 150 is a deal in my opinion and worth every penny. I have a vapor shark too which I use that other 1%, and would use more except mine has the lipo battery short vape time. Obviously thats not an issue with the rdna so you cant go wrong with that choice either

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I would go with one of the new Hana enclosure mods with an authentic DNA 30 or 40 , seen them around for a little over $100.00 , got to look around a bit but they come with Authentic chips in a Hana style enclosure.

To me the VS's are clearly overpriced for what you get and the real Hana's are even more outrageously priced. Check out the review at "Vaping Cheap" for the Authentic VS.

I would also opt for an Authentic DNA 30 over the 40 version.

Ugh that vapor shark is the one with the screen on the bottom.... That's a no go for me and frankly I am not sure why they would ever put the screen there.. Pain to read and potentially high probability of scratching the hell out of it.
Also thus far the dual 18650 mods seem to be too large for what I like to hold and lug around. The ZNA is like a brick in my pocket and that's smaller than those mods. But I have never held a dual 18650 so I base that statement on speculation.

Another thing that is wasted money for me are devices that have the gravity sensor like the Yihi chips . They aren't bad but if I could get the same or similar in the sx130 chip I would just buy the P4U IPV mini. But haven't done much research into it.

More research is needed but also more suggestion from the community, also nonstandard brands are welcome too, it doesn't have to be a "name brand"

Maybe the Beyond Vape Solara is the right fit for you then: Beyond Vape Solara DNA 30 [bv-sol-dna-30] - $175.00 : Beyond Vape, Premium Vaporizers and E-Cigarettes

There is also the Protovapor XPV 30D: XPV DNA-30D | Protovapor.com

or Protovapor XPV 40D: XPV DNA-40D | Protovapor.com

EDIT: Regarding the VaporShark screen, I have yet to find a conventional mod that I can read while vaping and I actually find it is easier to read and adjust the VS one handed. The screen has a lip around it to prevent it from touching down on the surface and if you add a sharkskin it is even deeper. So far I find the screen placement oddly intuitive and easy to use. But...different strokes! :)

The SX 130 chip is no where near the class of chip on the devices that you have previously mentioned. I would take an authentic Evolv DNA 30 chip over the Yihi SX 130 any day of the week ...now the SX 350 is a horse of different color. I would consider the IPV Mini a set up from a iStick, but its in a much lower class than anything Evolv.

I am not sure why some folks are sour on the G sensor .. what is wrong with doing less work to change settings? Also, the SXmini does have up/down buttons. I get that the G sensor is "different" at first, but it is certainly a hassle free feature to use, and again not nearly as much work as pushing and holding buttons down. I have the SXmini and the SX Zero clone and I am very happy with both.

I "had" the VS rDNA which was a big NO for me (the box not the chip), and I also have the IPV mini which is an easy pass for me. I like it, but I would never miss it if it were gone.

Thanks nikkita, the sx130 vs 300 vs 330 on the Yihicigar site didn't really show a lot of variances except output and device ohm rating so I wasn't sure if the 130 was just a similar unit without all the bells and whistles or wouldn't go as high or handle as low of a coil.

I guess the g-sensor, in the videos I saw, seems a bit of a waste of time, to me at least, as you tip it back and forth to get what you want vs. just clicking to the right setting. Always see people going past the setting and having to tip it back to go back.

Still not discounting anything as much as trying to stick with what I like and can afford.
If I have time today I will try to find a list of actual evolve and Yihi based devices and see what I can find. I didn't want anyone doing the work for me but I value user experience more than I will a spec sheet.
