I have been using the kr808d1 and have been smoke free for almost 4months. I am considering purchasing a new model. I need some opinions on what is a step up from the 808. I want a good throat hit, a good amount of vapor, and easy to refill cartos. Also something that is popular so hopefully cartos can be ordered from numerous sites. I've been using LiteCigusa (and Ive been happy)but they are currently out of my cartos and will be for 5 more weeks. Also does anyone know of any other sites that have 808 cartos cheaper than Litecigusa? Thanks for info

Time for a bigger battery like a PigCig? Start filling your own cartos? Mixing your own juice? I really like my kr8 passthrough, and have a pigcig on order for mobile vaping. I'm also experimenting with different juices and filling my own cartos, trying different PG/VG mixes. There are enough pre-mixed juices out there that I need to try that I'm not going to DIY mix my own juice yet, but that's probably the direction I'll eventually go.
The pigcig is great. It last me all day. It produces a lot of vapor. Not bad at 29.99 for one battery.

If you plan to stick with cartos, then I see no reason for you to move on from the KR808D-1 battery. It's a damn fine batt from everything I've read.
AvidVaper has 5 packs of the Boge soft tip cartos to fit your KR808. They're supposed to be the bomb-diggitey and easy to fill/refill. The 2.0 ohm versions will give you a decent throat hit. I can't say how they would perform on your KR808 batteries, though. 80%PG / 20%VG juice will also lend well to a decent throat hit.
This USB wall charger plus this true 5 volt passthrough will give you the experience of a 5 volt vape. (Yeah, I know 510 only. 510 batt to 808 atty/carto adapter here.) LR attys/cartos aren't good to use on a 5 volt device, btw. That might give you a better idea of what you're looking for if you decide to move on from your KR808D-1.

I just upgraded to an Ego from litecig with 2.0 510 lr cartos was using an 808 and this is great! and ibought an adapter to be able to use my 808 cartos
the rgo/rivas are great...never tried the pigcig tho...heard it was pretty cool...
If you're a KR8 carto lover then you should avoid an ego / riva with an adapter as they're not 3.7v like a KR8 batt, they hit less, the PigCig from LeCig is 3.7v so i would suggest getting one of those if you want something with a bigger battery.
I to have an 808 and just ordered a Joye Ego from Liberty Flights. From what I've read on the forums the Ego is a popular model. I am also jazzed to start filling my own cartos.
i have a pigcig and i bought a $20 box mod with an 808 adapter from madvapes. i don't see myself buying any other models, these do the trick for me.

i recommend any 18650 mod with 510 LR atomizers, and metal drip tip. i don't see how you can go wrong with that. it's all day vaping, and good hits.
If you want the BEST throat hit and battery life, then you need to look at a 5 volt PV such as the GLV2 or a good variable volt PV.
Well right now i got the KR808-d1 its not that bad for me right now i just need to get some juice.
I started with the kr808 myself. After a while I wanted more battery life so I just built a tekk mod with a kr808 connector. They are pretty expensive to buy IMO (85 was the cheapest I could find) so I just built it myself. Ended up costing like $40. It lasts for DAYS without recharging. Not are kr808 cartos are created equal. Some are bigger and different resistences. Also, If you want to try dripping you can buy a 901 atty. They will work with kr808 batteries. Just another of the 100's of opinions out there.
If you have been vaping long enough to know that you don't want to fool with juice and battery changes, AND you don't mind if it doesn't look like a cigarette, the answer is a box mod, and the best box mod is a REO. I recently got a REO mini, and it is now easier to vape than to light a cig.
If you decide to keep using your KR808D, litecigusa has the KR808D-1 Premium cartos in stock. I was considering offering to sell you some of my brand new Premium cartos, but when I checked Litecig's site, they show they're in stock. The Premiums have worked fine for me, but I changed to dripping all the time and might not use cartos too much anymore, since dripping results in more flavor and vapor and less hassle overall.
