I am a newbie here and getting ready to place my order from Cignot. I am trying to decide which to go with the Joye eGo or the Joye 510 with PCC.

There is so much information here, I have read for a couple days and just registered tonight as I am anxious to get my mind made up and place my order.

This is a birthday gift from my husband.

TIA for any tips!

If I could have skipped the 510 and went straight to the eGo, I would have. I love my eGo.. you won't have to swap batteries and charge PCCs and carry extra stuff around. Had the eGo been around when I started, I would have wished someone would suggest that to me.

Whatever you decide to order, welcome to ECF and good luck!!

(cignot has great customer service and speedy shipping, good choice there!)

Thanks Lilacs! I was leaning that way. So much to learn! We almost bought the njoy at the pilot, but I wanted to research a bit before jumping in and stumbled across the forum.

Is there anything else I need to order ? I do not want to be thinking I am all set and ready to go, and then need something.

I am also ordering some goodies from ms Ts Bakery :)

Well, maybe we can help you in your decision. How much does he smoke? Also, to some people, their PV looking like a real cig is a high priority. If you just want personal opinions, I'd say go with the eGo right off the bat. I have a 510 and have had it for a couple of weeks. But, I have an eGo coming in the mail right now. The 510 is a great PV. Good vapor, throat hit is pretty good, you get ok flavor from your juices with it and all of these things can be improved by simply replacing the stock atomizer with a Low Resistance atomizer. The problem with the 510, especially for folks who smoke a lot, is the battery life. That's really the most signifigant negative with the 510.
But with the eGo, the battery life is basically a non-issue and lasts 6-8 hours per charge (and that's with really heavy vaping). Also, based on everything that I have read, the vapor, taste and throat hit are signifigantly better than the 510. It's a little bigger than the 510 but, to me, that's no big deal. Just my opinions. Hope it helps.

MsT's has great stuff! I am not sure if she's very backed up lately, but there were a couple of times I'd ordered and it took a little longer than I had expected (but I love her juices, so who can complain, right?) I think it would be good to oder a few atomizers with it, just so you have some as a back up, or for different flavors (I use one atty per flavor type, fruits, coffees, etc) but their kits come with one for the eGo.

Best advice I could give it to not overwhelm yourself, and have fun with it!

The last poster was correct about the 510 being a good first PV, the eGo is the same thing, just slightly bigger and on steroids.. but I am partial.. my eGo rocks! :vapor:

Welcome! I'm new as well and started with the no box 510 PCC kit from Cignot. It's what got me off analogs immediately but I kept hearing so many good things about the eGo that I blew a bit more of my budget on the eGo and soooo wish I had started with it. The eGo is just great. Much better battery life and I think better vapor making.

Liquids are important as well. I went with Tasty Vapor and their liquids are awesome. I've started to mix my own to save money and ordered a kit from One Stop DIY Shop who rock! The next few months are really gonna suck but I'm glad I did this as I NEVER want to smoke another cigarette..ever.

I have to quit reading these forums though because I want mods, low resistance atty's, etc. even though I don't really understand them or heck, know even if I really need them or if they really make the experience better.

You can't go wrong with the eGo though. Getting that was the best decision. Cignot has a 2 for one kit that is awesome!!!

Good luck..you will never regret doing this!!

Chiming in, I'm about to buy the ego 2 pack deal or whatever its called. i should place my order tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions as to what extras I should get. I'm going to buy flavors as well, and I think I'll go with Ms T's; great reviews! But someone said every flavor group (sweets, fruits, coffees) should have a separate atomizer. I just want to make sure I get everything at once, so I don't get it and start going crazy.

OOOhhh, I see. Lol. I stand corrected. :) As the other person posted, the are selling two complete eGos in each kit at Cignot. That's what I ordered. And I really do suggest the pyramid teabag modded cart as well. They made a signifigant difference in the carts of my 510 and since they're the same carts...:). And I second on getting a few extra attys. And if you want to try LR attys, I got mine from Nhaler and chose to shop there based on reading reviews from other members. Good luck and happy vaping! :vapor:

The different atty for flavor is my own preference. I use one for the fruity sweet stuff, and another for the stronger, smoother stuff. I have one atty devoted to flavors like raspberry, blueberry, rasp-cran, those types, and another for some others. It's just my own preference. I don't like to start a flavor like peanut butter cup on an atty I've been using with watermelon. Doesn't taste so good to me! Just my :2c:

I have also found that Tasty Vapors have phenomenal flavors, and to purchase an ounce of their nic flavor with their doubler of the other would be much more cost effective if that's a concern for you. Again, my :2c:

I find it's good to have a couple of extra attys around, just in case one fails and you're stuck with nothing.. there's nothing worse than the taste of analogs when you've been vaping for a week or ten :D So I try and have a small stash stocked up for the "just in case" moments.
