Howdy folks!! I'd just like a little advice from the experts before I place my 1st order...
This has been in the back of my mind since last Oct., when my cardiologist told me I should quit smoking. Yeah, right... They even offered me free cessation classes, with patches or gum. No thanks!! Then I saw a friend with an e-cig, the first one I'd ever seen, and he told me about this forum. Someone even offered to buy me the starter kit/supplies for Xmas, but still nothing. It wasn't until another friend got me a disposible one from the local smoke shop last week, that I finally made the decision to switch... one puff and I was hooked!!
I found a post here where someone had dissected the same one that I had, and thought it was similar to a 510, so I was off and running!! My only criteria were that it NOT look like a regular cig, and of course, cost. Then, after checking out some of the shipping prices, especially on small orders, an American supplier also became a factor. And your opinions were important, of course... ;-)

So here's what I have come up with so far...

From Cignot.com (you peeps weren't kidding about the service!!):
1 - Joye 510 no box kit (blk-1 auto/1 manual) w/Menthol low carts
5 - empty carts
2 - Menthol samplers 12 mg (3 flavors/3ml ea.) 18ml total
1 - Anise/black licorice 12mg/6.5ml
1 - Mocha 12mg/6.5ml
1 - Nifty little carrying case
Note: I decided to go with their own brand of juice, because of the sampler, flavors, made in the USA, and it's VG.

From VaporKings (Cignot doesn't have these... yet!!):
5 - Boge empty cartomizers

I plan on placing my order(s) on Monday, so I would value any feedback on how you think I did, since the task seemed so daunting at first... but I think I have enough here to last me a few weeks (I'm a pretty light smoker) and a decent variety of flavors. Vicki @ Cignot has been such a sweetheart that I already feel guilty ordering from someone else, too, but they won't be getting any of the cartos in for 2-3 wks. yet... probably just in time for my next order!!

I appreciate any help/advice you can give me!! Thanks folks!!

However much juice you think you'll want, double it (within budgetary constraints, of course)

It sucks to run out of juice. It sucks to track down a local tobacco shop that has juice. It sucks to pay twice as much money for half as much juice. It sucks to be stuck with your only choices being "menthol" and "grape". It sucks when "menthol" tastes like a piece of gum your wife has been carrying next to the perfume in her purse for six months. It sucks when "grape" smells more like a wet dog than a wet dog does.

It's good to have a stockpile of juice leftover when subsequent orders come in the mail ;)

edit = Please define "SoCal". I'm stuck in the armpit of San Bernardino
*waves in a general "thataway" direction*

Being from SoCal (Southern California) I even know that IE stands for "Inland Empire"... LOL!! But I use SoCal as a generic term, more specific would be the South Bay... San Berdoo, huh?? You have my sincerest condolences. I've been lucky enuff to live within a couple of blks. from the beach for most of my adult life... :)

I loved your descriptions of the Menthol and Grape from the tobacco shop!! But as this first order is a gift from a friend, I was limited to a budget of $70, which I only went over by $2.73, btw!!

@r3dgh0s7: Thanks for the tip! Budget constraints are the same reason I didn't order any extra atomizers this time, but I'm hoping the cartos will fill in the gap... I'm on a fixed income and won't be able to place another order until next month (plus I just bought a carton of cigs)
