Hello Eveyone,
My name is John, I own a comic book and vintage collectible toy store store~~ I have been thinking about this for a year now, and I am ready to switch~~ I have spent alot of time tonight reading the forums and topics, and this is still very confusing to me with all the abbreviations and vape lingo~

I know what I want to do, so can someone help me through this:

1) I want to quit smoking Marlboro's (Analogs I believe as they are called here)

2) I want to know of a good reputable place where I can order an electronic Cigarette prefably one that has a customer service number that I can order over the phone, luckily I have never tried one of those free trial ads you see on TV or hear on The Radio~~

I do not want anything for free, I want to pay my freight upfront and see how it goes~~

3) I do not want to smoke ANY NICOTINE,tobbacco, TAR OR CHEMICALS~

I just want water vapor and flavor~~ I WANT SMOKE TO EXHALE OUT OF MY MOUTH, even if it is Water Vapor, the Exhale is what I like the most, I hate the Inhale~~

I don't even like Nicotine or tobbacco anymore~ I know alot of you will say don't go cold turkey, but I have done it before for more than 1 month. I'm not addicted to the nicotine, or if I am I can beat it~~ What I can't stand, is the hand to mouth thing, especially when driving or hanging out with friends~ So please just let me try and go cold turkey~~ I know it only takes 2 weeks to beat it cold turkey~~

When I smoke now, I smoke with a handful of tic tacs in my mouth and drink water, I don't know why, but that's what I like to do

So Can I smoke and e-cigarette with NO nicotine and just flavor added?

& Where can I get it~~

4) Is there any harm in just smoking water vapor and flavor~~~

5) I smoke a pack of Marlboro's a day now, what is the equvilent of what I will need to vape the same way~~

Before I overload with questions, can someone point me in the right direction for the requirements I have asked about~~

I truly appreciate anyone's time, and perhaps someday I can repay a new member on this board~~

Thank you~~
Wildstar (John) (FUTURE VAPOR)

Welcome to the forum, John. I know you're probably on overload, but if you haven't already read the Wonderful World of Vaping in the ECF Library, it gives a lot of good info that may be helpful.

I'd recommend getting checking into a 510. Cignot.com or WordUpecig are good reputable suppliers, but there are many others if you want to shop around. Not sure if they take over the phone sales though.

As to liquid... many sale 0 nic juice as well. The least expensive route would be Tasty Vapor's doublers. They sale either 2 oz (60 ml for $10) or 4 oz (120 ml for $15) of 0 nic juice in many flavors. These are usually used to cut the nicotine content of juice without lose of flavor, but can be vaped alone. I would really advise getting some juice with nic as well, at least while transitioning.

Hello Eveyone,

It is overwhelming, no question.
1) I want to quit smoking Marlboro's (Analogs I believe as they are called here)
I call them cigarettes. That's what they are.
2) I want to know of a good reputable place where I can order an electronic Cigarette prefably one that has a customer service number that I can order over the phone, luckily I have never tried one of those free trial ads you see on TV or hear on The Radio~~
Good call on not trying the free trials. The companies I've dealt with all offer contact information, email or phone, or both.
3) I do not want to smoke ANY NICOTINE,tobbacco, TAR OR CHEMICALS~
If you prefer zero nic, most vendors offer that.
I just want water vapor and flavor~~
An issue of debate. Is the visible product water vapor, and water vapor alone? I think not, but that is a component of it. Actually, water vapor is invisible. What you see is condensate on dust particles. Propylene glycol, one of the chief ingredients of eJuice is strongly hygroscopic. Because of this fact, you must be sure to hydrate when you're a vaper.

Wow, I don't know how to respond. A month is nothing, I've known addicts who went a decade and then went back into it. However, let's assume you aren't chemically addicted. Yeah, that's a good thing (however doubtful), what you seem to be saying is that the oral fixation and 'something to do with your hands' is a larger factor ... to which I can relate. You sound like an excellent case for PV success if that's the case.

So Can I smoke and e-cigarette with NO nicotine and just flavor added?
YES
& Where can I get it~~
Most merchants offer zero nic.

4) Is there any harm in just smoking water vapor and flavor~~~
#1, it isn't SMOKING, it is vaping. NO smoke is involved. #2, it isn't water vapor. #3, No harm in vaping zero nic juice.
5) I smoke a pack of Marlboro's a day now, what is the equvilent of what I will need to vape the same way~~
It varies by the individual. I used to smoke (more than 35 years) a mild cigarette. I required 36mg to beat the cravings. From your description, it sounds like you're largely a physical habit, rather than a chemical addiction. You might not require as high a dosage.
Before I overload with questions, can someone point me in the right direction for the requirements I have asked about~~
I would recommend for you a simple two piece PV, such as the KR808D-1 (for a good introductory kit), as available from many sources (Google is your friend), such as Vapor4Life.

Congrats to you for putting down the butts! I would bet if you asked 100 peeps on this forum if they enjoy vaping more than smoking their analogs , you would probably get a yes from 80% of them and that's probably modest. Anyway , the fact that you don't want nicotine in your juice , is fine and although I don't think anyone can tell you that there is absolutley no danger in that , there is certainly no added risk to vaping a nicotine free juice. The hardest part is trying to steer you towards a particular juice or starter kit , just beause there is so many variations that all have their own benefits and downsides. The easiest answer is get yourself a joye 510 kit , I personally think that is one of the best ones for an intro to vaping but if you are someone who wants solid battery life and be able to vape for the better part of the day without a re charge , then the EGO is a great cholice. There is so much more that you can learn by patrolling this forum. The fact that you will not have any nic in your juice , will make the flavor much stronger than someone vaping 24mg because there is nothing diluting the flavor , that you can cut your liquids with either PG , PEG or VG to lessen that effect if they are a bit much. Watch some of Grimm Greens or Stu Bear62 videos on you tube for juice and pv reviews , they both do a good job and there are many more Big Ice Dog. I'm gonna put a cork in it for now and let some vets chime in and give you their opiions on pv's and vendors , but good luck to you and congrats again!

OH MY GOD, Its 2:00 am here in new jersey, I have been reading and studying information since 6:00 pm~~

I cannot thank you guys enough for replying so late~~

Here is what I think I am going to do~~ After reading and seeing some youtube videos, I decided I am going to order from E-Smokeytreats.com~~ They seem reputable and a few people have called Phil by name, so he must be a personable guy~~

This is what I have decided on ordering, I haven't placed my order yet, but I think I am going with this, unless I get some bad reactions ffrom members here~~

I am going to order:

Classic Pen Style Electronic Cigarette Kit (DSE 801) $59.99
e-Smokey Treats e-Liquid - Menthol - 0 Nicotine $9.95
e-Smokey Treats e-Liquid - Turkish Blend - Low Nic (6mg) Just in case I really do need nicotine $ 9.95
Blank Cartridges for the Classic Pen Style Electronic Cigarette $2.50

Should I order anything else?
How long should these items last me, if I smoked a pack a day before~~

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS~~~ I may be up for another 3 hours reading this stuff~~ I cannot wait

Going to have 1 of my last analog's now, as thse days are numbered~~

If you want to go the KR808 route, the two piece set up with a battery and a cartomizer, GoodProphets.com has incredible pricing and great products. He has great sales too. My cousin bought an entire set up including a full kit, PCC, juice extra cartomizers and I believe and extra battery, the whole thing, everything she needed for $65.00. Most of it was on sale that week so it was really a great deal. He ships fast and is very helpful in answering questions. The owners' name is Rob and he has a Sub-Forum under in the Vendors Section. He's on line a lot to answer questions, update stock, announce sales, etc. Just an all around good guy to deal with. He also sells zero nic so it would be one stop shopping for you. Happy vaping and good luck with your journey. It's a great trip. And be sure to stick around the forum as much as you can. Lots of nice people here to help you along the way. :)

John, I started with an 801 too. I've moved on to a mod but I still keep a few 801's around just because they are so nice to use. Check out AwesomeVapor.com. Arno and his family run it and they have great customer service. I think the 801's will be cheaper through AwesomeVapor. They also sell 0 mg juice.
You didn't mention how many mls are in the bottles of juice you are buying. Are they 10 ml, 15 ml, 30 ml bottles? To estimate how much juice you will need, I think you should plan on having like 3 to 5 mls a day. That would be an amount for a pretty heavy vaper so I think you would be safe to guestimate high rather than low and risk running out.
Check out Awesome Vapor before you order. Also, if you decide later that you want to use cartomizers, you can use them with an 801 battery. All you need to do is buy the cartomizers and a 801 to 808 adapter. :)

Thanks Tracey, I am watching some ore youtube videos now, and I think I am going to stay with E-Smokey Treats~ I am sure your place is good, but I like the name of the company, and everybody keeps calling Phil name saying he is legendary~~ I am not worried about the money, it all seems close in price, so If I soend a few extra bucks I'm cool with it~~ I want alot of Vapor and the 801 seems to be it~~

Thanks again, and yes I will be staying around this forum~~

Actually, if he is wanting to go cold turkey, he won't require a "dosage" at all.
I think the amount of juice depends on the individual, but it appears as though the moderate vapers use appox 3ml per day. If you are a nonstop vaper (and I think you will be, since you are going through nicotine withdrawals) 5ml may be a better guesstimate.

If you want a lot of vapor, I prefer the kr808. I can puff away on it if I want to, the folks here with 510's and m401 are very thin...my Kr8...hah...foggy.

I thought the 510's like the ego had great vapor production? sorry Im fairly new as well.

As a relative new comer myself I would add that it would help to be open minded about it all too.
Try not to get preconceived notions of exactly how it will be for you. I say look at it this way, if it gets you off the smokes then you are halfway there.

Whatever it can help to cut you down on your intake of tobacco is a good thing. So go slow and be patient. You might need more nic, you might not.
Whatever questions you may have or whatever you experience there are many who will try to help so just ask.

I researched about a week before deciding. Crowd favorites here tend toward the 510 and the kr808, I then narrowed down from there. One of my pals here has a 510, and his just didn't seem what I wanted, he was always taking it apart for various things (as I look at my workspace with a jumble of flavors and cartomizers to switch back and forth through the night) I opted for the two piece design. I felt I made a very wise decision. At $30 for a nice set up, I have had zero issues, two day shipping, and great service.

I also decided I wanted to mix my own juice, so I shopped till I found suppliers that carried everything I wanted for unbeatable prices. Again, I feel I made a very wise decision, and will order from these folks again with no hesitation.

7 hours, you are just beginning. Take your time, and be patient. I hated those last few days, but it was well, well, worth it.

thanks again, My mind isn't made up on anything yet, except for where I am going to order from, and it looks like I am pretty firm on the 801~

I have been at this for 7 hours now, and I am figuring out a few things~~~

Thanks everybody~~

Hi Wildstar00, I agree with the KR808, good choice.

If you are near a computer a lot you might want to consider a Pass Through (PT) also. It connects to a USB port (I like to use my external USB Hub instead of attaching directly to the computer) and the KR808 version gives you a lot of vapor and flavor.

On juices or pre-mixed cartomizers you might also want to get something like a 60/40 PG/VG mix. The VG part will also help to give you lots more vapor.

The vendor you seem to prefer does NOT appear to be a registered ECF vendor. I went to their web site and although they are selling good products I noticed the price on the Pass Through was five dollars higher than most others and e-liquid was $5.50 higher for a 30 ml bottle. I do wish you would consider the "proven" vendors listed in the Forum Suppliers List. Five dollars extra on every purchase is going to add up fast!

Also, don't ignore the Forum Library. There's a lot of valuable information there.

Good luck on whatever you decide to do and keep us posted.
