First post to the forum glad I stummbled upon it. I think I have done enough research to buy a couple ecigs but was hoping if someone read this they might say I would advise against this or maybe try that instead in case I am going in the wrong direction.

Some backround that might help, 31 years old, been smoking a pack a day since I was 16. Just had a little girl with another one on the way. Having kids has changed my life and made me want to quit this nasty habit. I think I am more addicted to the actual habit and motions then the nicotine which is why I think ecigs could help get me off cigs.

I wanted something similar in size to a real cig but also not some heavy piece of metal that didn't resemble a cig. I am worried about the taste/flavors but I assume those will be a trial and error basis. I would like a good amount of vapor. Cost really isn't an issue since cigs are so expensive these days, I dont mind spending some dough to get me off cigs.

After reading the forums and watching some youtube videos of a gentlemen that reviewed a number of products without affiliate links I was going to buy the COLIBRI Micro Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit and the G300N GreenCig 'Noble' Kit.

My question is, do I need to add anything else to the order, like make sure I have an extra battery or 4 cartomizers isn't enough.

Or if you are someone who shares the same intrests I do is there an additional product you might reccomened?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I can't help with either of those two models. My favorite ecig sizes are the Joye 510 and kr808d-1. Liberty-flights.com has the joye510's and vapor4life.com has the kr808d-1.

Joye is a 3 piece ecig. Cartridge, atomizer, and battery. If you decided to go with this one, I would suggest getting a box of boge cartomizers to make it a 2 piece ecig. less hassle than atomizers and cartridges.

kr808d-1 is a 2 piece ecig consisting of a battery and cartomizer. v4l also carries pre-filled cartomizers and juice.

Good luck in whatever ecig you purchase.

From what I've read. The Mini PCC Bloog Maxx Fusion starter kit is the best when it comes to cigarette look-a-like e-cigs. If money isn't an issue than this will be perfect for your needs:

Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits

Here's a couple of youtube reviews for you:

YouTube - BLOOG MAXX FUSION E-CIG REVIEW

YouTube - The BLOOG and PCC from BloogPlanet.com

Also, it's a good idea to get some extra cartomizers since you don't wanna run out of them at the wrong time. Which will lead you to maybe go for a cig again. Here's my recommendation for an e-juice supplier if your interested:

Awesome customer service/quality of products (you can actually create your own blend) and you get a free 10ml e-liquid bottle with your order. Coupon code: newtoyou

I think you'll live to regret the cigarette sized requirement. You might as well say that you want to change batteries every couple hours and be chained to a charger. Something more Sharpie sized can fix that. However, whatever you get, make sure it's something in the 510 or 808 family. By all accounts the Colibri is a pretty good super mini but, you're pretty much stuck buying stuff made for a Colibri and nothing else. That limits vendors and availability. I don't know what the greencig is and if you don't either, stay away.

The max fusion is probably the best cigarette sized thing out there that takes generic attachments but, there are availability issues.

The KR808D1 comes in second. Most people recommend Vapor 4 Life for these but, I think this kit at My Vapor Store is a better deal.

The Joye 510 will provde the most attachments and accessories but, it normally comes with carts and attys which can bve problematic for someone new. So, if you go this route be sure to buy some cartomizers to go with it.

Whatever you get, get manual batteries. They take a little getting used to but, they have less problems. Also, if you must go cigarette sized, get a PCC (Personal Charging Case) so you can charge on the go.

Cartos are more trouble free starting out but, you really should sample your juice before filling a carto. If you go with an 808 or Max Fusion, get a 901 atomizer and a drip tip so you can sample your juice before filling a carto.

If I were to do it again, and cost was not an issue, I would probably opt for the Bloog MF - I've never tried one myself but the reviews I've read seem to support that decision. That said, I started with a KR8 (kr808d-1) which worked well enough for me to get through the transition period (couple of weeks) and then was ready for longer battery life (which equals bigger, less cigarette-looking, type of model).

thanks for the replies. The ego was my 3rd pick but the size is what threw me off since I wanted it to look and be sized like a real cig. I guess I will ditch one of my orginal 2 and pick up the ego for the battery life and flexibility it offers since it seems like it is a popular suggestion around the forums.

The fusion was also on my list but I couldn't find a site online that had it in stock.

Sounds like I need to make sure to order extra juices and or cartomizers so thanks for that tip. I would hate to not have had a smoke for a couple days and then run out and want to smoke again. Thanks for that tip.
