Real or Fake BVC Coils??

yea I had the same issue with an eBay seller. listed as nautilus BVC but sent BDC. I returned them. then ordered from a diff seller, were only $18.50 for 10 coils.

Luckily the seller has let me return the coils I'm just waiting for the replacement BVC ones to come. He had me try a BDC coil to see if I liked it and it shorted out in less the 10 vapes. I always prime my coils and let them sit a good 5 plus minutes before hitting them. I don't like them at all!!

One of my local vape shops tried to sell me what IMHO are counterfeit BVC coils. First, BVC was not etched on the coil. Second, the screen on top was not as fine gauge as the original and there was no hole in the middle. Third, the knurling on the end was more course.

They were packaged in an Aspire box. No authenticity check. No orange BVC sticker. Packaged in zip lock bags. He tried to tell me that his distributor packaged them individually, why not just separate the coils. IMHO if I specifically ask for Aspire BVC coils, I expect them. He didn't ask if I wanted clones. And to top it off he wanted $23 for 5 coils. Even directly from Aspire they are only $20. I can get them from a number of online vendors for $12, some of which have B & M locations.

Funny how you neglected to mention all that in your first post........

I would think the Baggy would be a dead give away.

Another thing to be aware of is if you just say you wanted the Aspire BVC coils you could still end up with the wrong heads. Aspire makes a BVC coil for some of their other tanks that do not fit the Nautilus. You will need to specify and verify that you are purchasing the Nautilus BVC heads.

yes. there are three. nautilus bvc, atlantis bvc and aspire bvc. they're not interchangeable with the exception the aspire bvc coils fit about a half dozen or more aspire and aftermarket and/or custom devices with and/or without adapters. for example, my wifes billet box fits the aspire heads with a billet bridge from atmistique.

I did not make the purchase because of the baggies.
