Real Tobacco Taste?

Can anyone tell me which vapor tastes most like tobacco? I have tried the Belmont Milds, but there is a sweet taste and the after taste is not for me.

I'm almost embarassed to say this, but I've been vaping some cheap Dekang Flue Cured from ecigsupply and it has what I would call the closest to a real cigarette taste I've found so far. But I did just order some different flavors from Backwoods Brew so I'll let you know how that turns out.

I've tried some of the sweeter flavors and found they are just not for me.

If/When you do find it....LET US KNOW!! But I do agree that the Flue Cured juices do have a very close taste just pretty strong for me to do up as an all day vape.

I will say that the Dunhill from MyFreedomSmokes does remind me instantly of my old analog days and even why I couldn't make them my daily analog back then --- strong flavor.

When it comes to tobacco flavors, american e-liquid store is the only one I've enjoyed and the only one that came close to being like real cigs.. Only down fall is that it is all VG and can kill some atomizers quickly so best to use cartomizers instead.

I can see that happening to me, so with all the great reviews for Backwoods, I'm hoping to find something better. But I have to admit the cheap Dekang Flue Cured at 24mg gives a great TH and a pretty good taste.

I think it comes down to personal taste. I personally like Perique Black (Vaporbomb) and english tobacco (Vapors etc.). I really think that most all tobacco flavors with out the smoke have a sweet aftertaste, but if you took a drag on an analog without it being lit the tobacco has a sweet taste too. I just ordered Dark Vapure (Vaporbomb) and I should have it tomorrow. I've heard good things about it so I can't wait to try. I did mix together what I had left of some Virginia and Perique Black (Vaporbomb) with some 555 (VaporRenu) to make up a 5ml bottle for a couple days and it really wasn't half bad! LOL!

I second the thumbs up on the Halo Freedom/Torque but also will say that it isn't really a tobacco taste. Great flavor just not tobacco.

I will say that a friend of mine that vapes menthol tried my DIY Freedom and did note it had a tobacco "like" after taste/feel.

It's great juice and both are now my steady, daily vapes.

Two that I enjoy are Vapor Station's Texas and Tampa. They do not seem to have that sweet, almost pipe, smell/taste to them. The Texas may be too light (depending on your preferences) as I'd put it in the light to ultra light category, but the Tampa is a little more robust.

I used to smoke Parliaments and the Parliament cartomizers from V4L are really doing the job for me.

If you are a menthol smoker the "nuports" are awesome.

I was never a menthol smoker but these carts are the closest to a real cig I have found.

Thanks, now I need to find a good strong morning flavor to replace my usual analog. I just can't seem to shake that one.

Oh and 1984 Angel and the Running Rebs! Man I miss the "Shark". He might have broke all the recuiting rules, but he could still coach a team.

I also have tried many, many tobacco flavors, so I'll share my thoughts / personal taste experience:
For me, all the tobacco flavors I tried seem to fall into 1 of 3 taste types.

NOTE: This is based mostly off of dekang flavors. I tried a few USA made juices from 2 different shops, and they all had a soapy and artificial after taste.

1. Sweet and Nutty (More like a pipe tobacco)
-TAB
-RY4
-Flue Cured
-Virginia Cured
-Cigar

2. Close to cigarette with "cigarette-y after taste"
-Benson & Hedges (My Fav)
-555 - (strong TH)
-Marb - USA Mix
-Virginia (2nd fav)
-Camel
-Hilton
-Turkish Blend

3. Tastes nothing like tobacco
-Palmall (Tastes like vanilla)
-Menthol (After a while it tastes like tooth paste)
-Nuport (Tastes like the one above)

BUT, the cream of the crop for me is Dekang's Benson & Hedges. Not sweet or nutty, great tobacco-y flavor, perfect throat hit, nice cigarette-y after taste, seems to last a while before the flavor fades and I have to top it off. Totally cured me of my "wake-up analog" need.

I will second the Vapor Station recommendation, their tobacco flavors are excellent. I would also add Alien Visions, Ben's tobaccos are my favorite--his Boba's Bounty is my absolute favorite e-juice.

Halo Freedom and nHaler's "plain tobacco" taste a lot like a real smoke...

Backwoods brew... Don makes his own tobacco absolute... it is really good.

You really ought to look into how these tobacco flavors are made... is it just pg/vg and a flavoring? or is it a tobacco absolute with flavoring?

VapeRite makes their own in the organic and natural section. Todd writes:

I extract the essence of the raw tobacco in PG over a three days. This produces a Real Tobacco taste because it is real but without all the chemicals and bad stuff.

In any case, I have Halo, Backwoods Brew, VapeRite and I also have some that are just PG/VG with Flavourt flavoring...
