hey there,

i started vaping again recently (i've quit smoking analogs altogether 4 days ago) and now i'm getting a bad cough each and every time i vape. is this normal? i litterally can't drag a single puff without coughing like i have some sort of lung infection. what's weirder is that this didn't happen when smoking analogs and i exclusively cough when vaping, and not when i'm not. any advice? my kit is a istick tc40w with a gs air tank at 0.15ohm by the way.

As said thats a TC coil so have you locked the resistance??

On that mod you can't change the wattage in TC only the temp.

PG percentage?? PG makes me cough like crazy.

Nic level?? I'd prolly hit that settup at 6mg.

Could be any of the above, but could also be typical " quitting smoking" side effects.

There is a whole section somewhere on this forum on the topic of post quitting affects that are typically the same as if you quit by other methods. Many are similar to your experiences and they happen to non vaping quitting.

I would see a doctor just to be sure if it continues.

.15 Ni200 coil? if Yes, TC only(nickel mode only)
Locked?
What temp setting?

Mod should hit temp error quick, if Not inhaling. Inhaling cools the coil some and draws liquid to the coil.
Temp set to low will cause Temp error

Typical Temp error of Dry Coil Error is from improper Lock.
Tank/coil and Mod need to be at static Room Temp before locking.

Most of that is caused by the fact that the little hairs that have been dormant from smoking are now waking up and your lungs are starting the cleaning out process. I also found when I first quit...I vaped quite a bit....which can cause some minor irritation until your body adjusts to the vape as opposed to tobacco smoke.

Have you vaped a .15 nickel coil in wattage mode lately ?

Nope, as I won't use nickle, I won't do subohm and I refuse to even have that stuff in my house. However that does not change that 4 days without smoking suggests the first thing to look at is simply normal quitting issues.
