I hope that someone can confirm that the mini PCC can charge MORE than 2 batteries
The 1st one I purchased had to be sent back because I was only able to charge 2 batteries with it

I spoke with Ashley at CS...explained the details of what was happening, and was told to send the PCC back. Well I did, waited 2 weeks to receive another mini PCC. Instructions were sent to please send one that was functioning properly.

Got my replacement yesterday only to find out that this one is doing the same thing, only charging 2 batteries...I refuse to pay for shipping this back to Bloog again, and having to wait another 2 weeks to get a replacement.

I am only asking that someone at Bloog make good on the products they sell
Now, if this PCC is only meant to charge 2 batteries, please let me and everyone else know that this is the case. I know that Ashley was surprised that it only charged 2 batteries.

I hope someone at Bloog can respond to this. Not happy

yep....that's what I mean. I probably have a bad one, atleast that's what I'm thinking unless everyone else is only getting 2 charged batteries out of it
wish someone else who has a mini PCC could verify how many charges they get. but it just doesn't make sense that it only charges 2 batteries, especially
for the money you pay for it.

Probably 3 times now....I did notice tonight, it almost charged the 3rd battery, so maybe I'm making progress. I'm going to keep on trying, put it on charge again tonight, and will test it out tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Make sure it goes from full to empty and back to full a few times. That should break the battery in right. No guarantees, but I've seen this work before. Some higher end battery chargers actually have a break in function for this very reason.

One more question....

How are you charging the PCC? If you are using a USB port, it's possible the port isn't supplying enough power to fully charge the unit. I strongly recommend using the wall adapter. Also, do not use passive USB hubs to charge the PCC. Active hubs **should** be ok.

If you are using a wall adapter, try a USB port to rule the adapter out as the problem.

I was kind like the OP and not really happy when I learned how few times I could charge an eGo with a PCC. Seemed like it was about the same cost to just buy some spare batteries. So I got this unit on e-Bay new for 25 bucks before I went on a camping trip.

It can charge a 900mAh eGo battery about 10 times. Also charges cell phones.

OMG! This would be awesome for a power failure! We have ice storms and power outages here in the south sometimes and I've always had a fear that I would have no way to charge my batteries other than sitting in my car with the motor running and a cig lighter adapter! I'm gonna have to check this out! Thanks!

It would work. It has 1,700mAh.

I'm not sure what type of batteries you have but to see how many charges it will do, divide the mAh of your battery into the mAh of the External battery.

So if you had a standard eGo battery, 650mAh, you would have 1700/650 = 2.6. - So that's not that hot.

But if you could find something more like this.

Amazon.com: Digipower Ebp-Usb34 Usb Power Charger: Cell Phones & Accessories

Which has 3,400mAh - 3400/650 = 5.2 - That's is better because now you can charge your e-Cig a couple of times and have some extra power leftover to charge a cell phone.

Any of those EBP-USB34's floating around e-Bay for a good price?

This is the cheapest one - about the same as Amazon. Thanks for the info - I am challenged when it comes to electrical ratings!

DigiPower EBP-USB34 Universal USB Power Pack for all US - eBay (item 250724788106 end time Feb-08-11 07:07:28 PST)

That would be great for camping or those times when you're spending the weekend out, but for every day needs it's too big. A product that allows at least 4 reacharges and can carry 2 or three batteries and at least 4 cartos in one convenient carry case shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Well, did another test yesterday on the fully charged PCC, using a different usb cable...and still will only charge 2 batteries. Put the 3rd battery in, and it charged for about 40 minutes, then the PCC ran out of power. Grimmgreen's video says that he can charge 4 batteries on the mini Pcc, and it TAKES AN HOUR to charge a battery  Well, my battery takes 2 hours to charge, hence only being able to charge 2 batteries.

Does it really only take 1 hour to charge a battery in the mini PCC ???? I'm really trying to get to the bottom of this
