Really frustrated :-(

I'm using an eGo and I'd catch myself not pushing the button right and when I did, talking such a long drag that the cut off happens...(snip)

Oh man, why did I have to read that?

I have never taken a long enough drag on my eGo to reach the cutoff. I thought to myself "Hmm... I wonder what the cutoff time is..." So, sitting here in my cubicle where I stealth vape during work, I proceeded to find out. I pushed the button, started pulling vapor into my mouth as I counted down the seconds. I got to about 13 when the LED started to flash. I thought "Thirteen seconds... not too bad!"

That's when I inhaled.

I will add that it is somewhat hard to stealth vape when you take a drag that is so big you immediately start coughing and blowing vapor all over your cubicle. I thank my lucky stars that it actually dissipated just before the guy in the next cubicle stuck his head over the wall and asked if I was all right!

Talk about a close call.

Ack! Sorry about that!! Unfortunately, I've had the kind of day that even with those long drags, I'm not getting enough to have a problem . I just don't know what is going on. It has gotten somewhat better though. It has to be me. Maybe, even though I'm taking long drags, they aren't powerful enough drags (on my end). Maybe I need to do one of those drags that makes your face look like a fish..LOL. I think I'll wait till after work for that though.

Well..you two are certainly not alone. I even watched a you tube, closed the door to my office and tried using a mirror to no avail. Add this to the column of things I just can't do.

well, there was the day that the used mod I bought on the swap forum arrived and didn't work, and at the same time I broke the wire on my passthrough and the charger light wouldn't go red on my last battery......had to chop my passthrough up and rewire it with big chunks of black electrical tape hanging off the end......

YAY!! We can reserve the table for 'winners that smoked for over 20 years and STILL can't do a french inhale. Well, we COULD, but we think it looks kinda gross/silly..' when we meet for lunch one day!!

Well..all is back to normal! It may have been equipment after all :-(. I had one brand new atty that I'd been saving and after getting to the point where I wanted to have a fit and throw my precious eGo out the window, I broke down and used it. I was vaping like normal 10 minutes later after blowing out the liquid they put in and priming it.

I honestly thought all my atty's were fine, but I guess they arent and that's upsetting. I've tried to be really good to them by blowing them out after using them and cleaning them once a week. I was using a method I found here which a lot of people said worked great for them. I really hope that I can bring them back to good life by using another method. I read a post about cleaning them by popping them in Diet Coke for 20 minutes then boiling them for 20 minutes and letting them dry overnight. I guess I'll give that a shot as I have nothing to lose. I can't lose all my atty's :-(.

Thanks again to all of you for being so helpful. Venting alone helped greatly and after finding out that I simply cannot French Inhale...I was thrilled to find out I could become a member of club of others that can't do it either..LOL.
