Got the 15 pack of boge 2.0 cartos this morning, filled one up with some ry4, and slammed it on my grand - what a great, consistent vape! I may have overfilled it a bit, but was anxious . . .lol
I used to use the ego mega dual coils on my ego, so was already a carto lover . . . I don't use the syringe, just about 10 or so drops of juice in the filler, let her sit a bit, then squonk till i hear a small gurgle. one thing i did notice, was a bit of a crackle sound when i fired it, not the whole toke, just on the initial fire. Is this normal, or was the carto not wet enuf?

For any of you reonauts who swap juices during the day, how to you store/mark your boge cartos?
do the end caps work sufficiently to keep the juice wet?? Also, if you are a pretty consistent vaper, approx how long is one carto lasting you?

Haven't put one on my mini yet, baby puff = >, but that's next . . .
I'm thinking these things will be great for my trip in December, cruising the eastern carribbean for a whole week =woot woot!!!! Have to get some pics of my reo family relaxing on the balcony . . .:p
thanks all . . . happy friday!! :vapor:

The crackle is normal.

If you have a crafts/hobby store near you, they probably have little plastic ziploc style baggies. Get a package of those and a sharpie marker, and you can drop your carto in a labeled bag, and stow it away till you're ready to use it again. The end caps, aka "carto condoms", will work fine to keep the carto wet while you store them.

How long they last depends on the juice you use. Darker juices tend to drop off in flavor and performance more quickly than lighter juices, from my experience. Also, I have ruined some cartos by squonking too frequently. By adding more juice than was needed, the filler swelled and restricted airflow through the center tube.

Cartos are really great for on the go vaping.

I have a ton of bottles at this point so I just keep the carto with the bottle. My cartos always crackle even when firing. I find it comforting. I do syringe fill however, I just find it easier and less messy and it fills the carto quickly and completely. Its probably just me, but knowing I got that .9 mls in there from the get go just feels right.

I purchased a Brother P-touch label maker from Office Depot for around $20. It makes figuring out which is which so much easier especially when you have at least 25 of them all with different flavors(still searching for the "one"). I use 1/2" tape and am able to type two lines. I put the flavor name and also after reading on here recently, the date. It helps to know when I first filled the carto. I have a few attys and I label those with the date and also the resistance. Last week I purchased black tape with white writing and it looks much better on my black/black grand that the white tape with black writing that came with the unit. Hope this helps.

Congrats, theres alway a few REOs within my reach with Boge Cartos on them :)
Though lately its been 3Ω at 6v for me.

If you are going to drip fill them, they should get 20 drops in them before you fire them off just to be safe.
I like to let them soak in ... it really does promote the best results and the longest lasting carto.

If you can't let them soak or are impatient when you fill them try this.
With the bottom condom still on .... take an empty carto and drop 10 drops in there, don't worry about covering the air hole.
Then put it to your mouth and blow hard a few times until those 10 drops soak in. It should only take 3-4 hard puffs.
Repeat with your second 10 drops and boom your filled, soaked, and ready to vape in just a minute or two.

Like other have said, light colored juices are best with cartos. depending on the juice I can go anywhere from 2-8 days on one.
With Boba's Bounty I wan't a new carto every 6ml or so :(
With my LiquidXpress Taboo which is light (and freakin delicious BTW) I can get 20ml through sometimes.

I do get much better results regarding longevity with the 3Ω at 6v though.
Not sure why, maybe more power is better :) ahrr ahrr ahrr :)

BTW, I wonder what Tim the Tool Man would do if he had a REO ??
Maybe a back pack generator with a weedwacker engine and some welding cables ???
My name is Tim, and I have every tool known to man available to me ..... Just not much time or ambition lately.

Well they say its their RY4 "Variant" ??

I've had a lot of RY4s and enjoy some of them, but taboo doesn't seem very ry4 like to me.
Its very hard to describe. I guess its nutty kinda .... What I can say is it has the most amazing kick azz TH of any juice I have ever had .....

It comes in all PG or all VG .... I buy both and mix mine to get 75/25 VG/PG

I've vaped over 800 ml of it in the last 15 months.
