Ok in California, we have a measure on the Governors desk that if not vetoed by October 11th will become law banning the sale of E-Cigs, not to just those under 21 but period.

And now California is pushing harder and harder to legalize marijuana. With the possibility of 3 ballot measures on the next election, even if that does pass the federal government can still enforce the federal law against marijuana.

How does this make any sense?

Where does it say that the law was suppose to make sense? I think they teach a course in law school havin to do with not making sense so that the layman absolutley needs a lawyer.

When I got divorced I went to the law library in the state I was living in. There was no law saying I needed a lawyer. I followed all of the law and filed my own paperwork. Every step of the way I was told I needed a lawyer. When I asked them to produce the law that said I need one, the answer was always, "Oh alright."

But when I went to court I was 17th on the docket. But once the judge came in my name was called. I walked up to his bench and he motioned me to the side and leaned over close to me and said, "I want you to know that I know you are well within your constituional rights to bring this matter before this court without a lawyer. But I want you to know that if presenting your case without the benefit of counsel and you expect a favorable outcome... It will be the first time in the history of this court. Now you do what you want to do, but I am sure there are any number of fine attorneys in this building should you wish to retain one. DISMISSED and STEP BACK!"

I went out into the hall, found a suit, showed him my paperwork and told him what the judge had said. He looked everything over, charged me $400.00, walked up with me when it was time, read all of MY paperwork to the court and the judge said, "Ok, divorced!"

WOW! Pr*cks!

well in regards to the ecigs its stupidity, perhaps all the legislators are baked out of their gourds and need to legalize mirijuana so they cant get busted....

Or maybe because their citizenry has proven time and again that that is exactly what they want, and that as a State, they have the right to legalize it.

:D
