in a warehouse buried near Univille SD
1. mod to read ohms and shorts (ie: MVP2, Vamo, Provari etc) or a digital multimeter - ***This is NOT optional***
2. resistance wire - Kanthal A1 32ga (most common and preferred) or Nichrome
3. Wick materiel - Silica (2mm) or cotton (ie: organic cotton balls from Walgreens)
4. tools - wire clippers or fingernail clippers for trimming wire, lighter for annealing wire (takes the tension out so it is easier to make coils

optional
refillable butane torch - for torching wire and silica to remove excessive oils
something to hold the wire while torching (I use a scrap piece of wood with a very small hole drilled into it)
needle nose pliers (for micro coils)
dull point syringe needle or small machine screw (4/40 or 3/48) to wrap coil on

the youtube video I used to learn how

You don't need a butane torch. Organic cotton obviously doesn't require torching, neither does kanthal. You can also get annealed kanthal straight off the spool.

For torching silica, a simple lighter works just fine so long as you use blue flame, thereby preventing scorching while still adequately heating.

You definitely need APV or Multimeter/Ohm Checker, kanthal, wicking material, and some scissors. Other things that helps are needle nose pliers, mini screwdriver kit (for wrapping coils around different sizes), and a good trusty screwdriver depending what you're mounting the coil on.

PLENTY of videos on YouTube how to wrap coils, check out RiPTrippers or just type in "How to wrap micro coil" and you should get several hundred results.

Make sure you understand rebuilding before you just go doing it. Learn how to identify hard shorts, fix hot spots, and read your ohms. Know battery safety. I recommend shooting for 1.5 - 2.2 ohms to begin with and see how your coils perform.
