Ok love the reo lp grand. I have a reomizer 2 and 4 . First build with the 2 was awesome after no matter what I have tried I just don't get the flavor and hit like I like. I have 28, 26, and 24 gauge have tried 2 ohm down to a .6 ohm and nothing remarkable. I have silica wick and koh gen do cotton tried both. I like the size and the fact that the top screws into the base.

The 4 I am running dual coil .6 with cotton 26 gauge wire. Love the hit and vapor not as much flavor which sucks. I hate that the top does not screw down on the base. I have had it come off in my pocket. What a mess. Plus that thing gets hot super hot

I have read and googled and have not had any luck with recoiling the 2. Any suggestions for the 2. I am willing to buy another [h=2]Rebuildable atomizer. What do you guys suggest a 3 or a 5?[/h]Or is there something else I should look into? I mostly do mouth to lung hits.

Do you have any pics of your build on the RM2? That little atty is a flavor producing machine with the right build. Could be coil position, too much wick, or the ohm of the coil you are building. Could even be you need to dilute the juice with some unflavored. You have the right stuff you just have not found your sweet spot yet.

I agree with rattler. Try diluting your juice with unflavored. The rm2 magnifies flavor so much I can add a little bit of flavored to a full bottle of unflavored and literally taste that flavor for the next two days! I found most store bought juice way to strong for rm2. I have to cut at least in half to taste most of it.

Yup, ditto and ditto to the above. If you aren't getting the flavor your after with an RM2 my guess is that you need to adjust something as that is where these little gems shine. Try adjusting your coil higher or lower and see how that affects the vape. I find, as most would suggest here, that the best vape comes from a coil that is as far out on the deck as possible and dead center on the airhole. Moving that coil higher or lower against the air hole will change flavor and throat hit. Everyone has their own preferences so just adjust to taste.

The RM4 isn't going to give you the flavor compared to the RM2, it is designed for max flavor with big direct to lung hits. Have heard good things about the RM3 thought haven't tried one yet myself.

If you want to try something else I'd highly suggest a VA Cyclone and if you like lung hitting then you owe it to yourself to shell out for the AFC cap.

Hope that didn't confuse matters...lol, I tend to do that sometimes.

Here are pics of a fairly typical coil placement for me. This is a spaced or semi ugly coil but I normally run a tight micro coil in the same position. It is important to line it up with the air hole which I am sure you already know. With different juice I may need to raise the coil slightly for a better TH. Keep in mind that 1mm can make a huge difference in coil placement in relation to height or out near the edge near the air hole just as BFR talked about above.

Agree with all above, lets get you dialed in with the RM2, until we do that you'll likely have problems with other RBAs. Pick an ohm and stick with it, then we can work on getting it optimized. To many variables your playing with now. I'd suggest you build a coil from .6 to .9 wick it, then post pics and we can suggest how to tweak it. A change of 1mm in the placement of the coil can have a huge impact on the vape.

Maybe just try a few different builds on the rm2. A 1.5mm coil at 1.2 ohm with rayon wick is chucking out flavour and vapour for me. See below:

If you are still looking for more flavor then my advice would be to move the coil to the outer edge of the deck a bit more and trim the tails on the wick. With our little squonk boxes we do not need long tails. They block the squonk hole which keeps juice from draining. I keep my tails fairly short when possible and squonk fresh juice over the coil and wick a little more often.

I get the best flavor from my atty's when the coil and wick are saturated but not sitting in a puddle of juice. If it is sitting in the puddle you can not get good air flow around the top and bottom of the coil when you hit it.

enjoy

good luck
