Rebuildable on 10440 PV Question

Have been playing w/ some rebuildables lately and have a question. Have a 10440 Slim and a small WP 14 (genesis type) atty. When I get the atomizer together with no shorts and fire it seems to heat up the mod. No evidence of shorting (no glowing coils or "burnt" taste) but it leads me to believe that something is wrong.

Could the resistance be too high for a small battery? Any suggestions appreciated

did ya Check your spring connection ? or maybe its just the Amperage draw on that small Batt possibly too. What Amps are you drawing and what is the Batt rated for your using ?
