Hi,

Have a question about rebuildable genesis type atties on the grand? Can it be done? I am very interested in the Genesis (line), but they all have tanks...and of course I dont need that on the grand, but I would like to benefit from the stainless steel wick-rebuildable set up, so I can have a new experience, perhaps better flavor...and not to have to keep buying atties and cartos. Also if anybody has used these...will they short the reo. Thanks.

I'm pretty keen on finding the preferred rebuildable for the REO as well - I'm trying to get as much done DIY as I can in preparation for possibly moving ................... Scubabatdan was at one point working on one for a bottom feeder, and I read of a couple fellas in Russia (I believe) who work working on a bottom fed rebuildable as well. Theirs was going to be made of silvered brass, and I don't know what scubabatdan's was made of.

Thanks. I want it both for the supposed better flavor, and to survive any zombie apocalypse.

If there's a zombie apocalypse, I'm firing up a cigar and pulling a trigger with my toe. Mathematical models have been run, and there's no way to avoid being 100% overrun within a couple weeks.

Now, the FDA... that's a whole other thing.

Don't do that. I'll need a skilled DIY-er in my camp.

Ha ha...i think i have a chance with the 'slow moving' zombies, but not the new fangled 'fast-moving' zombies. you are right, the FDA is a whole other beast. I want rebuildables for my reo, maxi and a zenesis.

Pick your LP vinyls wisely. Oh, and here I was wondering if Scubabatdan had forgotten about Reonauts, great to hear/read.

For the FDA contingency, sure - no problem. But if there's zombies, it's game over already.

Oh jeez. In addition to fighting off the horde, I'll have to secure you as a hostage, too.

And don't think about skimping on the DIY goodness or you'll get half rations of pork 'n beans.

Rockin job. No way to get that to work from the bottom. How do you like it.

It works well for a top feeder. There is a way to make the Bulli bottom feeder MWA drilled a hole through the bottom of the bulli and used it that way. If i can find the thread I will post it here.

I'll be on the lookout for your post - I have a Bulli sitting in my vape box, don't use it much since it won't work with the REO. Thanks!

If I am correct, the bulli is rebuildable-but not a genesis with a stainless wick. I hear that the stainless makes a significant flavor difference. Any thoughts about that?

I am just now playing with some of the SS wicks. I got that takes the SS wick over the weekend and will post back tonight on my findings.
