So it seems that there are clearos, etc. which are called CC (Changeable Coil), some say replaceable, and some specify rebuildable. Does that sound about right?

If a clearo/tank doesn't say any of that, it's considered "disposable"? (Though you could potentially clean it and possibly even rewick/recoil it)

Replaceable coil is not the same as "rebuildable"?

I'm finding the tank cartos not much better than cartos (side from the greater carrying capacity), and have been enjoying dripping. I figure clearo/wicked-tank is the in-between. I would like to get a system with as many user-replaceable elements as possible. I'm a DIY kind of guy...

Just looking for thoughts from users with experience with these.

Thanks.

ok I use the Kanger Protank and the CE5 Clearomizers. Both have changeable heads. Both really are rebuildable as rewicking/recoiling the heads is super simple to do. I find them quite economical since I do rebuild the heads. Have a look on you tube for PBusardo's Vivi nova review. The last half he rebuilds the vivi nova head and both the protank and the CE5 rebuild basically the same way (minor differences you will figure out as you take apart the head you want to rebuild).

I find for myself I get excellent flavor from these devices. SLightly muted when compared to dripping but less muted than other devices.

The protank has the advantage of being glass so it is safe to use with citrus/cinnamon/banana tank cracker juices.

I love my clearomizers on both my ego batteries and my vamo.

In the clearo's you look for the textured ring on the bottom. My ce4 and 5's have that textured ring but I ordered a couple that didn't and they were crappy so I assume they were disposable. I burn't one out in a week and keeping the other couple I have to give potential converts. The rebuildable CE4 I have that I got with my ego kit have the single thick wick and now I'm passed the 6 weeks and they are still working fine. I keep the wicks maintained on a regular basis and they are doing me just fine. I saw a youtube of some DIY bolt and nut contraption to get the disposable clearo's apart but I don't see it going back together without beginning to leak.
Rebuilding the wicks on the CE4's look pretty simple to do but I going to have to do some research on the wick and wire and my other problem is here in Canada the package postal rate starts at 10 bucks so I have to buy other things to warrent the shipping charge or have my parcel sit in customs for who knows how long cause I ordered from a american vendor.
I bought a EgoC tank kit and its easy to change juice in them with a syringe but their capacity sucks and I sold them cause I didn't like the constant refilling.
I've never dripped nor tried carto's but who knows one day I prolly will.
