A 32 gauge will get you the same ohms as the 30g with 40% less wrapping. It's a thinner wire so the coil won't last as long. I still get over a month on a 32g with dry burning once a week. I usually use a 32g when the posts are close and space is tight, or when building micro coils for over 1.5 ohms.

One thing you can do with 32 gauge is you take 3 pieces, and make 1 coil wire, by overlapping, and twisting together, so that you make a short 32guage segment in the middle, but the straight legs of the coil are double thick and not as hot.
